Well, many March fillers are either getting touched or approved! I hear this RFE trick lots of times. But when you call, what do you actually say? "Hi, I know I dont have an RFE, I just want to hear the latest update?" Anyone know the dial sequence? :help:

By the way, my NOA1 was "received on March 26th" "Notice date March 30th". How many people have been touched or approved somewhere around those dates?

Thanks and good luck to all....AND PLEASE TOUCH ME!!!!!! :crying: (comon now, don't laugh, you know what I mean!)

Have you seen touches online? If so, by all means call now, if not, I would give it another week before calling. IMHO

The way I did it, I said that I saw online that my 'last updated' date had changed and I was worried that I had an RFE....so I was calling to inquire about that. That is when I was informed that the touch was actually my approval.

Good luck!

That's what I did as well. Had a touch and didnt hear anythng for 2 weeks (right at the beginning of the no notice wave). I called and said my last touched date had changed and I was worried about a request for evidence. He said "well it says here you were approved" Then me going :o

I told them that I noticed that the processing time at CSC for I129F had disappeared and were showing at NSC. I told her I wanted to know where my petition was. They're shoing up at CSC again, but that's even more reason top inquire about where your petition is. I think you should call. There are already several April filers with approvals. Good Luck!!!

You will get a letter from NVC also, w/ your new case number. Call the NVC(603-334-0700.), go through the promts to speak with a 'live person' and give them your CSC case number, and see if they have received your petition.....its been two weeks since your NOA2, I think NVC should have your case by now. Best time to call is in the morning and late in the evening....and they are open late. :)

Good luck!

Calling the main USCIS number and following the prompts for questions about a request for eveidence gets you connected to the service center your case is at. I dont remember the exact path, but you do have to enter your case number. It will tell you to send in the requested evidence, but if you stay on the line, or push a number you get to an operator.

You can also call the NVC, but they will only be able to tell you anything if they have recieved your case. And you will only be able to get help from a live person (if you can get through)
