The community transmission phase will end by October 08th. I hope the government will able to bring public protocol, which enables the embassy to resume the interview. One positive thing is that embassy is not closed completely, which means that there is a high possibility of the interview process will continue after the community transmission phase ends. 

    Moreover, there is an option of expedite requests if there are a Medical Emergency and financial hardship. 

  Let us stay positive and learn to Live with COVID.

I hope they work out something more inclusive. @Larry123 did you tell the embassy you flew in and quarantined for the interview and ask to be interviewed before you have to go back? If not, you may want to email/call and see if they will make an exception for you.

We did include this in the e-mail and the officer responded that it would not be re-scheduled this week so family should just fly back.  I just landed back in the US today.  I’m glad it worked out for Mrs. Samuels, but the person I got wasn’t as understanding I guess.  
my husband and I are just back on the waiting stage.  Our daughter turned 1 last week so at least we got to celebrate that together,  but we had tried expediting as well because he is missing So many of her firsts and that was declined too.

This happened with my husband too.  He e-nailed the embassy and then they called him verified with Andrews and when he called Andrews the next day his name was on the list and he got a medical date.

I don't get it the president out here holding campaigns with thousands in attendance with no mask on,  n.f.l. is back on t.v. tonight with thousands in the seats and covid is still rapid but their canceling interviews that's behind a glass with a few people in the building..

But since they cancelling interview I'm wondering if I should relax a little tomorrow will be 4 days since I sign up with Andrew. Don't make sense they cancel and then have to do the medical over.

Good afternoon everyone. Yesterday was overwhelming for me so I took a step back to gather my thoughts and come to terms with this inevitable. I received the cancellation notice this afternoon. Totally disheartening to say the least but I just have to accept it and look to the next steps. So let the waiting game begin 💪🏾Hopefully things will turnaround soon🙏🏾. Congrats again to everyone who made it thru thus far. Fly out soon cause as you can see things are ever changing. Chin up everyone else. We're gonna get thru this too.

Update to All concerned. The Jamaica embassy blessed us with another interview on 2SEPT, Original was on 26 AUG. (Embassy called me to confirm the rescheduled Date🙏🏾
The number the Embassy will  be calling from says (Spam Call) I Almost didn’t answer but GOD☀️☀️☀️☀️

Visa was issued: 3 SEPT

Picked up Visa: 7 SEPT ( Due to the weekend).
