Good Morning,

We went as suggested, and got turned back.  😢.   All interviews were canceled for today.  They did not give anymore information regarding why.  They said for more info we must e-mail.  So we just sent an e-mail and waiting to hear more info.

This was our automatic reply.  So just giving the heads up.  I don’t know what it means for anyone else,  but at least it’s the answer I suppose.

Good Morning,

Thanks for sharing, it’s just crazy that they’ll be canceling all appointments to have that back log again. Especially since both the US and JA government says we have to learn to live with COVID and the show must go on.

That's my thing and they're still scheduling for October. They need to devise a better plan cause this is infuriating.

I'm sorry 😔 That's a shame. They said they would reduce services, so why not reduce the # of appointments per day rather than cancel all? This is ppl's livelihood that's being affected. SMH.

Ikr, this is really heartbreaking 😞. I don't understand why they would cancel all the interview, why not halt the issuing of appointments and spacing out the appointments they currently have scheduled (by rescheduling them). 😕 sigh

What I don't understand is they are following the necessary prevention and control measures, sanitization, masks, social distancing, the COs are behind glass, both US and JA are widely operational so why cancel ppl's interviews?

This was my thought as well. They are doing the absolute best already at ensuring risk of transmission is nil, if we have to live with covid till some cure/vaccine is discovered, i don't see how cancelling interviews will do much. I'm praying so hard for everyone right now that this is sorted out soon.
