We were approved for our visa pending medical results!!

questions were very simple, but there was a CO that was a little bit more intense:

who’s filing

whats the relationship to you

where did you meet

how long have you been dating

how many kids do you have together? (Asked for proof, birth certificate)

have you ever applied for a tourist visa, if so when
what do you do for work
have you ever been arrested

then we were approved Ofc depending on the results of the medical that should be in sometime this week, there is a severe backlog.  💪🏾🤗

also guys! Bonus tip and will definitely lighten the COs mood is if you have the 2019 transcripts! So please try to get them because they were highly annoyed with people who didn’t have them.

When did you do your medical?

The transcript is what they prefer and differs from your 1040 and W2. The transcript is a line item document with your tax return information...to me is in a format that's more easily deciphered. Perhaps the reason for the preference. You can request the transcripts online for immediate download/print here: https://sa.www4.irs.gov/eauth/pub/login.jsp?Data=VGFyZ2V0TG9BPUY%3D&TYPE=33554433&REALMOID=06-000e9548-6cd3-16f7-9748-483c0adb4007&GUID=&SMAUTHREASON=0&METHOD=GET&SMAGENTNAME=UOkC7yx4eMTO24FGxPfBRb5q3Mj3Xh3pyXfBEjYyHJ97nGCXu16wx5MzFHjfZmlG&TARGET=-SM-https%3a%2f%2fsa.www4.irs.gov%2ficce--core%2fload%2fgettrans%2fpages%2favailableTranscripts.xhtml

You will be required to create an account, provide or answer a series of personal identifying questions to access the transcripts immediately online or you may request the transcripts be mailed.

Wow. They really have a back log then.

Yes. They said sometime this week so it’s looking like a 2-3 week wait.

also guys I didn’t remember to say! If you’re flying into Jamaica for the interview MAKE SURE YOU TAKE THE TEST BEFORE YOU ARRIVE AND QUARANTINE FOR 14 days.

because I have an American Passport I was stopped 5x asking questions about my arrival into Jamaica, even though it was before corona. So if you are coming come at least 2 weeks before the interview.
