Hi everyone,

This is my first time writing on here so please bear with me but I wanted to know if due to COVID-19 would the spouse be able to attend the interview? Is anyone planning to travel to attend the interview  with their spouse? I had initially planned that once he gets approve I would go to Jamaica for 2 weeks and fly back with him , but he wants me to come to the interview if possible which is fine , but I am seeing that Jamaica wants you to Quarantine for 14 days once I am there which I wouldn't be able to do. I was debating on going down 7 days before the interview and Quarantine those days but I have been watching youtube videos and most people have said they had to quarantine for the 14 days and one person said they told her 3 days until her result and then she was good. Also they were required to download the JAMCOVID19 App. I am in Texas and a healthcare worker so I was going to stop working 2 days before the travel and along with doing a PCR Test, I would also do the Rapid COVID test (takes 15 minutes) the day before travelling so I am not sure what to do , if I do travel do I tell them I am there for business or just visiting.

I went to Jamaica for 26 days on June 15th when they reopened the borders and I was giving "stay in zone" orders as my quarantine orders. 3 days after I landed they told me my covid test was negative. I had no issues moving around when needed, however I did not download the GPS app on my phone 🤷🏾‍♀️  I also plan on going to my husband's interview next month as well.  I was told that we would only need to quarantine for 7 days. I emailed the Embassy a few days ago to ask them and confirm, however no one has responded as of yet.

If you travel as a tourist, you bring your test results, but they still have the option of testing you on arrival if they feel they need to.  Then get "stay in zone" orders

If you travel for business you will be tested at the airport.

Check out this link for more in dept detail, than what I am writing.

In my opinion it is worth it. I don't mind quarantining with bae, it is well worth it!! I'm sure you guys will find things to so 😈😈😈🤫🤫😇😇😇 lol

Thanks for letting me know. I have been seeing videos where they say someone at the airport makes sure that you download the app before leaving. I contacted the Embassy yesterday so I guess it would be awhile  before they respond to be since you've been waiting. I'll look into the link as well.

Lol I have been telling myself I would let him keep his distance while I quarantine so if I can't go, he makes sure he is there but I doubt it would be possible for him to stay away, after months.

This should have been enforced from day one! I’m glad the Prime Minister has finally made this decision!!

We were approved for our visa pending medical results!!

questions were very simple, but there was a CO that was a little bit more intense:

who’s filing

whats the relationship to you

where did you meet

how long have you been dating

how many kids do you have together? (Asked for proof, birth certificate)

have you ever applied for a tourist visa, if so when
what do you do for work
have you ever been arrested

then we were approved Ofc depending on the results of the medical that should be in sometime this week, there is a severe backlog.  💪🏾🤗

also guys! Bonus tip and will definitely lighten the COs mood is if you have the 2019 transcripts! So please try to get them because they were highly annoyed with people who didn’t have them.

Thanks for the update. The 2019 transcript u are talking about is the 1040 and IRS?
