Good Morning! I doubt that anyone on this specific post/timeline has heard any news or has been looking for any updates for UAE.  As much as we love to see others post from countries around the world and love to encourage you all through this process this post is mainly for those who are Filing in Jamaica. To get a better sense of what’s going on at your embassy see if you can follow your embassy on FB, join specific nvc process groups on FB or search your specific country in the VJ search box to see if you may be able to find someone who is completing the same process for your country! Praying that everything works out in your favor!! 🙏🏽

Woah okay. I had no idea this was a specific topic, I found it through the main forum, no idea how I ended up here. Sorry.

Gm guys! Congrats on all the interviews! It’s getting reallll 😩🙌🏾

Question — is anyone not planning on traveling right away (as soon as their visa is issued)? I’m terrified to travel back to the US with my 6month old 😩 I know they give 6months to enter the country but idk how to feel about traveling with her especially since she can’t wear a mask. Any others in that boat or have advice to offer?

Honestly if you don’t feel comfortable traveling then don’t.

But I traveled with my child to and from Jamaica in June. It was an easy no hassle process due to the airlines allowing me to board the plane first and gave me the option to sit away from other people if there was room on the flight. I had a good experience I just made sure I had Clorox wipes in my carry on Luggage to make sure I could wipe down everything. As long as you social distance yourself at the airport you should be fine. The flight attendants didn’t mind that my 3yr old didn’t wear a mask but it was required for everyone else to wear a mask the entire plane ride.

GM remember travel needs to be done before medical and police record expires so you must do so in the required amount of time unless their are travel bans etc. But Simplygorgeous gave good advice. Social distance when possible and sanitize. God will cover you 🙏🏾
