Hi Gm Guys! Quick question! We submitted our civil documents in December 2019 therefore we had submitted the 2018 documents — DQ was in May.

I have requested 2019 tax transcripts but I can only get the copies as I’m already in Jamaica and they won’t get to me in time for the interview. Is that ok? Can I carry the copy of 2019 tax transcripts For myself and my sponsor? Or do you think it’d be a problem that it’s not the original.

totallllly freaking out.

I printed all my tax transcripts online from the IRS website. 🤷🏾‍♀️ That's all they are getting from me.  The only original Docs I have is like our Birth Certificates,  our Marriage Certificate, Police Record and Passports.

Yea and on the consular FB Live they told someone in the comment you only need originals for these types of things  Birth Certificates,  our Marriage Certificate, Police Record and Passports. The person kept asking if they were sure but I don't think the consulate responded again lol

Yeah do that because someone on the thread said they called and was given a date. Think it was @Mono90 but I don't remember if the status was kingston, in transit or something. Mono was it you? Fill us in.

it was @Firebread that called NVC and got a date not @Mono90 but Firebread your visa category is listed on VJ as K1. Are you K1 or CR1?

Hey,

From my observation from the last 2 rounds of interview dates assigned for us Jamaicans they were done on a Thursday. So I would definitely say to the late May DQ’s to expect that email on 8/13. Then anyone DQ,d early June to expect there’s next week Thursday.

I may be wrong, could just have been a coincidence, but let’s see.

Guys if you haven't created a timeline. Please do so. It helps others who are following this website. It was the timeline section that made me join the site and create this thread. I kept reviewing the area and looking for updates but some ppl weren't updating consistently so I figured a post would help us all stay informed. You can just fill in the important dates if you can't remember/find every date. ( i.e. I-130 sent/approved. NVC received, AOS sent, DS260 sent, NVC complete, Left NVC and interview date.)

Absolutely. I almost find it disrespectful to be at this stage and not have a timeline. I feel like the timeline police lol

Service Center: Texas Service Center SRC

Consulate: Juarez, Mexico

I-130 NOA1: 2019/03/21

I-130 NOA2: 2019/09/17

NVC DQ: 2020/01/21

Visa Approved: 2021/07/01
