Hey, I literally just got an email to pick up the document. It says within an hour. But judging this time of day, I’ll pick up tomorrow.

Congrats! 🎉 it's nice seeing momentum again. I hope the Embassy will pick up the pace a bit for the others with restrictions being relaxed in JA and US.

Good day... anyone knows for cases that were not expedited, which DQ dates are being processed?

For those that were expedited successfully, what were the reason/s for the expedite. I'm not sure what my category is (over 21 unmarried child of US citizen) documentarily qualified October 2020. its been 8 months and not another email... frustrated much!

Waiting anxiously myself to see if anyone knows how far they are in the process. We got documentarily qualified in November 2020 and not another word either. Sent several emails to NVC and they advised that they cant give a definite date.

I'm in the same position and trying to figure out the same thing. My husband has been DQ since September 2020, (CR-1 ), no word on his interview date yet

Same situation with me. DQ since Sept 2020, for a CR-1

Good morning, to my knowledge the Embassy is still behind from mid-end of Aug 2020 CR-1/I-R1 DQs, unless you've expedited, that was the last batch of interviews done.

@RedRose75 is today the big day? You're in my thoughts and prayers 🙏🏾

Thank you... Do you know what are the acceptable reasons for an expedite?

Send an email AND strong supporting documentation, i.e. if reason is due to medical send doctor's note(s) and medical report/record. If your case is already DQ'd, send the email along with your documentation to kingstoniv@state.gov. If your case is still at NVC, email nvcexpedite@state.gov

Reasons can be medical, humanitarian, hardships, i.e. financial etc. Whatever reason, strong supporting evidence needs to be provided.

I was DQ Sept 2020. Got a date for Feb 2021 and then it was cancelled.

After that I couldnt wait anymore and tried to expedite. I used the fact that we lost our twins last year and my doctor had me on fertility treatments and I needed my hubby here for it to work. I really think they felt sorry for me and he got a date immediately.

He went in on March 31 and was approved. He was here by April 12th.

The last I recall was they were still on Sept dates but were not doing any regular just expedited. If you can make a reason, make a reason and try and try again.

I just couldnt take it anymore and tried my luck.

Wish you all the best

Your category is F1. They're currently still rescheduling interviews that were cancelled from march 2020 last year for that category. In the last live they did, they said they expect that they won't be able to start taking new cases from NVC until the end of 2021 so if you do have a valid reason to expedite, I suggest doing so. Even the expedites are taking long because it now takes 30 business days for them to reply when it used to take 15.

Good Evening

Has anyone had any experience with being told at the interview, Congratulations, you’re approved and good luck, then being placed from “ready” status to “administrative processing”? We’ve heard this is a bad sign so don’t understand what could have happened? Any feedback would be much appreciated. Thank you

@NHC this is a normal chain of actions for approvals or otherwise, it will change from AP to issued when printed.

Did you send proof or you just sent the letter explaining?
