@RedRose and @StaceyAnn, I also sent a request on May 1st to NVC, asking to expedite my interview. They replied on May 13th saying that my request will be review, and they will notify me with the results when complete, but only the US Embassy or Consulate has the ability to approve or deny.

I haven't heard back any decision yet. Do you think  this time frame is severely delayed. They took 2wk for the initial response and now 1 month additional, and still no decision.

That's the reason i ask if you had submitted sufficient evidence why your case must be expedited.  Anything that can justify your request must be sent.

Praying that all will be well.

Hi KD

I sent my expedite to nvcexpedite@state.gov since my case was at NVC.... normally they respond in 2 weeks but of lately the time frame has been extended to even a month. Did you send documents to confirm reason for your request?

I did. But it wasn't for something serious like a medical reason.

Good morning, they said one to two weeks. But I see persons saying 3 days to a week.

Hi ShanR.....

Any news yet on your passport?

What about the courier....do you have to pick up in Kingston or montego bay?

Also, from the reading all the post, I got the impression that even if they approve the expedite, it still takes another 2 months or so for the interview date, correct?

What month in 2020 were you DQ? I'm wondering if without the expedite, how far in the question I would be now.

My case was DQ October 2020 but i got it expedited. Yes in some cases the interview is set 2 months after approval. I believe up to April 2021 the embassy was seeing cases DQ in August. So am not sure where they are now

I believe they consider all expedite request but you must have documentary evidence for it to be approved

Hey, I literally just got an email to pick up the document. It says within an hour. But judging this time of day, I’ll pick up tomorrow.

Congrats my friend!

I'm happy for you. My interview is 2 days away so I'll keep you updated.
