Lol I understand. I'd be doing the same had I not known it was due to the expedite. kingstoniv@state.gov is the main email. They have a kingstonivdocuments@state.gov for documents they request i.e. 221g for more evidence etc. Perhaps you should send it there, but what outstanding documents would you have? Bring it all to your interview.

Just an update. I got the email from NVC that my case is being reviewed yesterday. I am expecting the decision on Monday. I’ll let you guys know how that goes.

Does anyone know how long it takes for the case to be sent to Kingston if approved?

I got the email telling me that my case was being reviewed Tuesday morning, and by Wednesday afternoon, the email came that Kingston had approved the expedite request.

In that email, they tell you that it takes up to 2 weeks for the case to be shipped to Kingston.

Minister of Health and Wellness, Dr. the Hon. Christopher Tufton, says data indicate that the reproductive rate of the coronavirus (COVID-19) is trending down, noting that the country has recorded its lowest positivity rate in eight weeks. Yet the Embassy is still using Covid as a reason for delays 🤔

Exactly, everybody else is working around covid so why isn't the embassy doing the same? Countries with bigger population and worse covid numbers have their embassy open and doing cases. With that big building, there's no way you can only do less than 10 interviews per day. That building has enough space to socially distance more than 20 people.

If they are not processing visas then what are they doing? Because isn't that their job? So are they just sitting around doing nothing or doing way less work than normal and getting paid same way? Tired now man.

HI everyone, the strangest thing happened just now.  I got an email from NVC saying my interview date and time that was previously scheduled was cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.  The thing is I never receive an interview date and time.

Can someone please shed some light on this, cause I am totally lost.  My case was expedited and file has yet to reach Kingston so I don't understand one bit what this email is saying.

Does anyone have a clue?

Just like Stacy explain, I got that email too after my case got approved for expedite. Even thou am still waiting for interview date over a month now I hope they will start scheduling interview soon again, it’s crazy and stressful.

I understand. Thank you .

Tell me something though, have you check your NVC Case status to see where the case is.  To see if its still saying NVC or now at Kingston.  Check the location and see where your case is and share.

I am hoping that things will pick up since the cases in Jamaica are now declining.
