As been said here, only emergency and expedited cases are being done now. Therefore, expedite if you have a strong reason for doing so.

Ok no prob, thank you.

Stay strong and continue praying. I believe that you have a very strong case for expedite, your daughter's physical & emotional safety is at risk as well as your emotional wellbeing. Please also consider professional counselling for yourself and your daughter. All the best

Thank you JamKid.  I really appreciate that....and I do intend to get help, I know I need it cause I break down every minute of the day just thinking about what the criminal did to my daughter.

I can imagine it's very difficult not being there. As Kimisha suggested try the expedite with the records and talk about the emotional trauma for everyone, it may help get it approved.

Thanks Stacey Ann. I reached out to the Detective who is handling the case and she told me what to do in order to get a letter from the Divisional Headquarters.  So I submitted a written request today and I am now awaiting their report.  Thanks to you all for your guidance.

Also, I had written to the Embassy when the incident happened and today I got a response from them about expediting the case.  They advise me to send documentation of my daughter's incident.  So I believe you all have guided me on the right path.  I give God the glory that He allowed you all to listen to my plight and direct me in the right way.

Blessings to you all!

Great news hun. Thank God. There is light in every darkness. Keep the faith and push the police records people to get the report. You may need to call and push it. Desperate times call for desperate measures.

I know you will get through real soon.

Yes...you must be sure to talk to someone for yourself and your daughter. You both have went through a lot sis. We often forget to get support for ourselves.  Keep pushing.  It’s going to work out. God is able

Hey guys, how are you all doing? So quiet!

I was just about to post in here ennuh lol. I called the embassy today, cause I wanted to know if I could take a trip to the us for about 4-5 months and not worry about them scheduling an interview for me and I have to run come back. The lady said my case is still at nvc so I don't have to worry about that. Which means that they're definitely not taking any new cases from nvc for now so I will go enjoy myself as a tourist 😂.

I think they should do Zoom interviews and let us come in for biometrics as the final part of the process. That would be much easier and efficient.

Exactly. But they said they're not doing zoom interviews. I guess they don't wanna risk internet connection dropping and stuff like that. Cause god knows digicel and flow don't reliable.

Yes I think someone had asked about Zoom and they said they would not do it.

The problem is this is affecting so many people and they just dont seem to understand. They should at least schedule a few people a week, even one that is not expedited because this is now going to cause another backlog
