Yes I have seen other expedite for this reason.

We’ve written our request and he’s getting a letter from his commander tomorrow to attach. So we should be able to submit the request thereafter. Does anyone know the average time for a response?

My husband has to wait until September..if he's clean he can get his visa..

Yep so expedite if you can. I just did and wished I did it sooner.
