FYI as of Jan 26th, 2021 all international travelers and returning US Citizens will need to provide a COVID test with negative results dated 3 days prior to travel per the Center for Disease Control.

Yes I was planning a trip this month and now trying to figure how to get tested there before I come back. Almost makes me not want to go.

Anyone know where I can get tested in Jamaica, not sure if my insurance would work there and are test results coming back before 3 days?

They have private doctors/facilities that administer the test all across the island but the problem is getting the results in 3 days. That's the issue. I heard there are Canadians in JA who are having an issue returning due to testing delays. MOH will need to come up with a solution for this. Check out their website and/or follow their socials to find out the latest updates.

Andrew is in Kingston. That’s too far for me to get a test. I am in saint ann. I asked my husband to find a place. If they have this new law there must be better testing facilities and more convenient

Hey y'all! It's been quiet here. How's everyone doing? What's the latest with your cases? Has the Embassy started scheduling Sept. DQs yet?

Hey Stacy , some of the September people have gotten a date for February. They sent emails yesterday that the interview was canceled and now today that the expedite was approve when we never sent an expedite. I received this email yesterday and today so now waiting on interview.

Whattt? 🤦🏾‍♀️ they started the confusion again? I'm sorry. Seems like some sort of error then. Did you email them back?

No someone just got call the interview is tomorrow. I think hubby missed his call. I read this happened back in August with another country so I guess it’s a thing. Do you know the number where you call the embassy and get Simone live ?

876-702-6000 is the # but no one ever picks up. There are only recordings providing other #s. Someone told me she kept trying variations of the last 2 digits and got thru to someone. For ex: 876-702-6010, 6013, 6020, 6023 etc.

Only time I know of interviews being cancelled that way is when there truly is an expedite. The Embassy will cancel it out from NVC and contact you with a new date but as you said someone rec'd a call, so that's good.
