Happy Friday everyone. My case was updated to Ready (expedite request was approved). D/Q 9/2. Does anyone know what the process is from here? I’m trying to get an idea of the timeline as I’m preparing to travel with our baby twins for the interview.

Have a great weekend everyone.

Hi - did you receive your visa interview date?

Not yet... I’m hoping soon. They should be at the  tail end of August dq’s if not done. The holidays too have likely slowed things.

Good afternoon. Hope everyone had a nice Christmas. The Embassy is back in session today. Hopefully they will begin adjudicating some of their 221g cases and schedule Sept DQs as they've completed rescheduling their backlog. They will be closed again on Friday.

Good morning everyone! How y'all doing? Any new appointments scheduled? I only know of 1 Sept DQ (09/02) that was scheduled but it's an expedited case. As for us, we're still waiting 😬🤷🏾‍♀️

I dont think they have scheduled anything since the last round of backlogs. Just expedites.

We had our interview this morning. There were only 3 families including mine in the lobby. The consular called us up after taking our docs and swore us in. She asked us how did we meet, how I’m working while I’m in JA (I work from home), who is petitioning, if my husband has ever left JA, and if medical had been completed. Thereafter she said everything looks good. When we left Andrew’s called us to tell us medical was complete and sent today.

My twins and I are going home with daddy this trip! I’m incredibly thankful and grateful for this group. Experiences prior to our time really prepared us for this day. Although they did not ask for any of the 999 pages of messages, 200+
pics, and portfolio full of documents... I walked in feeling prepared. We even studied the consular questions some of you have posted.

To all still waiting, I wish you all the best and pray this process moves soon a d very soon for you.

Thank God we are approved!!!!
