They took his police certificate and passport and said they will contact him.. so I guess it's like Administrative Processing and I have to wait 🤷🏾‍♀️. I emailed them to ask if they need me to send in additional evidence or documents, or if they plan on doing a 2nd interview I am in JA and I want the opportunity to attend but they never replied.

Jamaicans seem to think in order to get approved for a tourist visa you need "ties" to Jamaica so they don't think you will run off. The lady that they go to to fill out those applications put he had kids and stuff.  His friends who were granted visa went to that lady and it said the same thing. But some got through and some didn't. He was also didn't.  

 

My application has him as not having any children which conflicts his application for his tourist visa.  So he had to explain how he didn't fill that out and it was done for him and everything. But I'm sure even though he really didn't fill it out or sign that application, to them it still looks bad.

 

Well the whole 1st hour of the interview wasn't even about me it was about him and tourist visa. Once it got me they asked:

 

"What's your wife address"

"Who does you wife live with" (Mom and Grandma)

"Oh her Dad doesn't live there..where does her Dad live what's his address"

Which he def does not know, idk why they would ask that but they were def trying to break him

"Do you know her parents"

"How many people from her family did you meet" (he has met both my parents, and alot of family members

"Where does she work, what's her job title"

"Does she support you" he said when they asked him that they were looking down on him like he is just some lil ####### with no money, so he told them no he works.

"How often to we speak"

"When was the last time he saw me" (he said she is outside in the car, her birthday was yesterday she is here with me in Jamaica)

"Oh she rented a car" (No, it's my car)

Once again he said they were looking down on him like really you own a car. He was being to get frustrated with them at this point.

"When did you propose..and how did you did do it" (he said when he expained how he set up the proposal the black lady started to smirk a lil bit, the only emotion they showed the who enitre time)

"when did we get married, what church, was it a church we are affiliated with, or was it a random church that we just pick" (we are affiliated)

"So what did you do for her birthday "

"What hotel are you guys staying at"

"What did guys eat for dinner last night"

 

Those are most of questions I can remember he said once they tried to play him he started getting angry so he pretty much just started telling them what it was with some authority they eased up a little bit.

They went through the photo album that I had labeled by date and separated by each trip so they can see how many times a year I visit so they don't just see a bunch of pics.  However, she only asked about other people in the photos, like my sister or our friends, the pics of me n him she just passed right over.

 

They didn't ask for my tax transcript or W-2s.  After almost 2.5 hours they took his police certificate and passport.

 

Craziest interview ever.  I wish I would have quarantine the 14 days and went.  I was in JA for a month when they opened the boarders in June so I was just wanted to do 2 weeks. But I encourage anyone who can attend with their spouse to do so.  Because I wish I was there to have his back.

I am 7 years older than my husband, but on the NVC group on FB they say 10 years or older is a red flag, anything less should be fine.  My only advice would be to come with extra proof if you have it.  I had so many more things I wish I would've sent him with if I knew they were gunna do him like that.

Bowy I printed some picks .. it seems like I am gonna have to take like 100 picks instead  or more cause I am not in the fuckry... I have some real old ones from ancient Greek 😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣 ago print them  and put them at the front middle and back  ...mi  nuh deh pon the foolishness  😒😕😕😕

Thanks AMO for the information i think he will be fine  once them take his passport its a good thing..if them did gave it back oh no.. I'm older than my husband too..but we have 2 and a half year old child and been together for a while i have proof of most things..good luck to us all..

I hear you, but I could do without that vague response especially after they approved my case for expedited processing. You would think they would have reserved a slot since they approved the case!  I don’t get it at all.

Yea once they approve it, they should definitely schedule you ASAP. You sent this to the KingstonAppointment email??
