I am praying that good news will start pouring from our VJ Jamaica family thread as soon as today/next week. We are indeed a family as we share each others joy and sorrow. We are resilient people and this too shall pass. We have gained a lot of exposure and experience from this journey that we can help others at the end. Once there is life, there is hope and every day above ground is a good day. Stay blessed my family, nothing and no one can hold us back!!

Amen. Thank you

Hello,

Anyone from India waiting for interview post DQ ? I saw in the Telegram group that people done DQ in Jan Feb 2020 are scheduled for Nov 2020. This is going so slow. Mumbai consulate may be working with low staff count but when they have CR1/IR1 as highest priority why are they not calling a lot for the interview?

Requesting friends who are waiting for Mumbai Consulate interview to share their experience / waiting time please. This is so tiring at the last stage too.

Best Wishes to all!

@DesiGirlChicago Hi, please check for info on India here: https://www.visajourney.com/portals/. This thread is about Jamaica.

Hey guys sorry for the delay, I was approved, never realise that it was alot of questions until after I wrote it down lol. It wasn't hard it was straight forward questions.

Who is filing for you? How did we meet How long did we date before we met in person?

How long did we date before we decide to married?

Why did we decide to get married. If it was his first time coming to Ja for the wedding.

What kind of work he does, and whats the name of the company.

Where is he from and his address. If we have any kids If it's our first marriage.

Have I ever gotten arrested or trouble with the law?

If he propose or we just got married..... Tell me about the proposal.

How many persons were at the wedding?

Name of the church that we got married, was it my church or a random church?

Where did we stay after the wedding?did we went on an honeymoon?

When was the last time I saw my husband.

It was more follow up questions base on my answers.

Then she asked to see some pics, I had 4 albums and she only looked at one and said that it was enough. Then she said she's going to issue the visa and it will be ready in 7-10 business days to pick up.

Congratulations @The Godfreys 🎉🎉🎉 thanks for the feedback. How was it at the embassy? # of applicants, process to get inside, did there seem to be COs in training etc?

you guys can email them and inquire about your interview appointment!!

make sure to include your case number and

beneficiary/ petitioner info

if your case still shows to attend your interview in ceac!!

I called the embassy and spoke with (Wendy) she instructed me to email them! I have no further info on them, except that they email back pretty fast

@Prettybartley did you try the email? What was the response? I gave that email to a K1 who was having trouble with the appointment scheduling portal. The Rep told her the embassy would get get back to her in 3 days I believe. The Embassy later emailed her the same generic email..we are operating on a limited basis and will contact you for an interview when possible although we know K1s are interviewing (I saw a few K1 approvals on VJ this week) so they weren't helpful to her.

Well basically the same thing!! She said that the system still shows to attend!! And if the consular canceled they will instruct me on how to reschedule my interview!! So that's all I was told! Wasn't helpful! The Lady at the embassy told me to email them! I did that!

Side note guys. I heard of 2 ppl who interviewed within the past week who were given 221g and asked for additional proof including their entire Whatsapp chat history from beginning of their relationship until now 😳. Have you guys ever heard of this?
