Hello,

Hoping to find some guidance, please. We recently received a letter from NVC to collect fees and paper works from my mothers petition. The scenario, my brothers ex -spouse is still listed on the form. Though, they are now separated but not legally. Is it worth for us process her for papers as well? To eliminate extra processing such as  separation papers, which they dont have none. Divorce is not legal in the country. Can we just not process her but continue with my brother? On the form, there is a checkbox  to not check her. Just not sure what implication. Any ideas?

Thanks!

No implication,  just process the intending immigrants and ignore the rest

YMMV

Would they question him and look for her while processing his papers?

No.  Much ado about nothing

Well this case is made slightly more complicated by the apparent existence of two wives at the same time.

OP, good idea to keep all your questions in one thread so people can get a full idea of what the true picture is before they answer.
