Who knows maybe you did include it and forgot you did?

If you truly didn't well make a good copy of it keep it in the ready and pray the RFE comes very soon... because the dinner the better.

It's risky but someone once told me how he realizing he made a mistake on his application called the bank to block the cheque....quickly put together another package correcting the mistake included a new cheque and sent it.

The old package was not processed and returned to him in 2 weeks.

His new package however was approved.

But what do you know? It might just be stories....not possible to verify and no credibility at all

I have seen folks receive RFE after 6 months while Others receive in 2- 3 months your miles vary.

OP,  there are no guarantees, but here is what I did:  we had been waiting on an old decree absolute from England, and the archival search had taken months.  We filed using a document explaining the search delay, and when we finally received the decree (about 6 weeks before NOA2), I sent it with a letter explaining exactly what happened, as well as a copy of my NOA1.  I was hoping that it would find its way to our petition, and evidently it did because we avoided any  RFEs.  Btw, I mailed it directly to the Laguna Niguel CSC address.

Maybe we were just lucky, but I’d say it’s worth a shot.  Good luck!

I hear mixed stories about sending in supplemental packages. There is a chance that you would have been approved even if you didn't send int he divorce decree. For example, they may have just not caught it.

We would have needed to produce it eventually.  My husband was asked about the situation at the interview.

So I just delayed the process by a few months then? Once they catch it, i'll receive a RFE via mail, then ill need to send in my divorce decree?

There's no way to know how much it will delay things. Most likely somewhere between a few weeks (if you've got everything ready and can mail out the response to the RFE within a few days, and the person working on your case is fast) and a couple of months, but it can certainly be longer.
