When was your interview scheduled for?

I never had an interview scheduled prior to this email, hence why this autogenerated message did not apply in my case. As for a future interview appointment, that has not been scheduled yet. Hopefully should find out soon once the consulate receives our packet from NVC 🤞.

I asked to my local (BC) doctor trying to get my new medical, they said need to get it through consulate for the appointment.

Is anyone asked other local doctor?

You can only use the panel physicians and you can only schedule medicals when you have an interview date.

There's no reason to get a medical done until you get your appointment. If it expires after 6 months with no appointment there's no refunds, which is what a lot of us are facing now. Dr Cheema is usually pretty quick with the appointments though.

Has to be US Certified panel physician. I believe USCIS has a list of them in Canada? I know there’s one in B.C., a few on ON and a few in QC

Yes I went to Dr. Cheema and honestly the waiting took longer than the visit itself. He is very fast though.

I heard medical exams that conducted btween 1/1/2020 to 6/30/2020 will be given an extra 1 month validity. Anyone heard about?

Also, I call to MTL, they say they will not resume visa interview till August 14th.

However, Some others got the answer that they will resume visa interview after August 14th.

I called nvc yesterday and asked about interviews she’s like I don’t see that they are not interviewing and that we are scheduling on a monthly basis once they give us dates we fill them up with applicants.

So does this mean if my medical expires end of July I actually have until end of August due to the 1 month extension? That is if I am able to obtain an interview during the month of August.

With the medical we were also given another unsealed packaged that we are suppose to give to the CBP when we do move which has a slightly longer validity period, would that also be extended ?
