With the 1 month extension mine will expire October 13. I had mine done on March 13th. Being that my visa is a CR-1 and I  originally had an April 6th interview, I'm really really hoping they will accept mine cause I don't think I will have time to get a new medical done. I'm visiting my husband in the US right now and planning to head home mid September. With 2 weeks of quarantine factored into the equation it would be a tight squeeze to get a medical done, assuming that I might get rescheduled for early October. But who knows. Let's see what happens. All we can do is take things day by day.

Just to be in the safe side, we decided to to retake the medical. Haha so I have 2 bookings lol. I will end up cancelling one. Clinic in surrey said they are sending result electronically to Montreal now and that they are not sending the sealed result anymore.

I am unable to retake because all medicals have said I need an interview date to be able to redo one. 😕

Which clinic in surrey is this? Dr. Cheema?

Oh cool :) Electronically is best anyway! Much faster. I'm from Toronto so I will have to do it there. So when is your interview date? I'm happy for you! Congrats on getting rescheduled )

So wonderful :) You'll do great. So far I've heard of 3 people from March being scheduled on September 9th. Let's hope they keep this going at a steady pace. All the best to you!! Let us know how it all goes.

Hi guys.  I just received my appointment for next Friday. Its a little different as this is my second interview as I was refused after my first. Just wanted to let you know that the wheels are turning in Montreal now.

Congrats on your second interview!  Can you please fill out your timeline so we know more details about your case?

When was your first interview? Had you previously had a seconded interview scheduled and it was cancelled due to COVID-19 or has Montreal presumably just finished the AP work on your case and is now just ready for your second interview?

Thanks! My medical expires on Sep 5. Emailed montreal regarding the medical and they said it is valid for 7 months. They said just to attend the interview and they will review medical validity then. Are you or anyone retaking medical?

My interview has been rescheduled for Sept 9. My medical expires Sept  25 (with the 1 month extension) so we have decided to redo the medical before my interview because 16 days to get my passport back and move is really cutting it close with the postal delays lately.

Might be a waste of money but its one less thing to stress over at this point.

We weren't DQ'd until mid-May so I'm sure we have a wait ahead of us but it's great news to hear they have finally reopened. I am following this thread and hope anyone who gets an interview date will post it so we can get an idea of the time frames! Good luck to all, we're finally getting there!
