Awesome!!

Is this for K1 visas? or only CR1/IR1?

Either way its great news!! (If its K1 then of course its better news... haha)

It says spouses and children so it doesn’t seem to include K1...I guess they’re finally following the “Mission critical” order for CR1/IR1 orders. I shall wait patiently still....

I received my IR1 visa interview date from Montreal this morning....they are rescheduling the cancelled interviews from March and April first.  My DQ date was November 19, original interview date was March 23.  Hope this helps with your planning...

What’s your new date?? If you don’t mind me asking

This is good news, Congrats!  I'm just curious as to how far in the future they rescheduled your interview?

That's awesome! I was cancelled april 3rd. Can you please share what your new date is? I'm considering going back to the US next week to visit, but if they're not too far in the future, I won't. (Quarantine and all....) good luck!

Congrats Annie! So happy for yoooou :) This is great news for us all. Did your invite letter come via email? And how much notice have they given you? I'm trying to guesstimate the future about when my April 6th CR1 visa interview might be rescheduled and whether or not I'll have to retake my medical.

Looks like everyone is awaiting AnnieF's response on when her interview is, I've come here to wait for that as well. This will possibly help me decide if I should wait in Canada or US for the K1 to restart.

Please enlighten us AnnieF! 😄

My interview was scheduled for Sept 2.  14 days notice.

Unfortunately I switched to AoS 2 weeks ago because I am in the states approaching my leave date and there was absolutely no warning or notice from Montreal.  I emailed them to give my interview to someone else.......

Sending ❤️  I'm certain it was a hard decision to switch to AOS not knowing what would come from Montreal.  Glad you and your spouse could stay together during this process, and I thank you deeply for reaching out to Montreal to inform them that you'd switch so they could give that interview date to someone else.
