Hello All,

I had just realized that I sent my Passport renewal application double-sided in the mail today. 😞

Just wanted to ask if some of you may have experienced this situation and what was the end result.

I am very concerned that it will be rejected and may take a long time to send back to me due to this covid situation.

Any chance they will process it, or are they very strict about it?

It's going to be rejected acc to below so just submit a new application anyway.

You must print your form single-sided. We do not accept double-sided forms.

Yup, nothing much you can do about it unless you want to call them up about it.

When do you expect your application to reach its destination? No harm in calling and asking them about your use of double sided forms -- you never know. And if it's going to be rejected, would it be possible for them to mail back your application as soon as possible? (or something).

Since I sent priority mail, probably on Friday or Saturday . I was able to call the customer service number and they say it depends on the facility processing the renewal.

They advise to wait 2 weeks and call them back to see if it is entered in their system and look it up.
