That's great! I'm so happy and excited for him.:dance:

Just spoke to him and he's saying we'll still have to pay for the flight hours but if we can get him his theory courses for free. that would be a start.. *sigh.. it's so costly, but I know it's his dream in life, and i sooo want to make this happen for him..

I won't eat much I say.. I'll stop buying the "good shampoo".. anything to get him to flight school :)

Wow you sound like a wonderful wife (F) What a lucky guy he is

That's just what I was going to say!

2005 - We met

2006 - Filed I-129F

2007 - K-1 issued, moved to US, completed AOS (a busy year, immigration-wise)

2009 - Conditions lifted

2010 - Will be naturalising. Buh-bye, USCIS! smile.png

Javi just bought about $1000 worth of tools because that's his passion. He loves to build things. He absolutely loves to work with his hands. It's nice. I get lots of things done around the house and he doesn't complain because he loves doing it. He wants to get his contractor's license one day. The main thing holding him back from that right now is him learning to read and write english. I'm hoping he'll get motivated soon and that hurdle won't be there anymore.

Just couldn't stay my @ss away!

You know switching routes is a GREAT idea.. why didn't i think of that.. it's just a nice walk to the next bus route, and would give me a good uphill climb coming and going!! Brilliant! :) I'll look into that.. I think it might work I'll check into it!

My hubby is going to pick me up today. And I can take a bus an hour later it is true.. I think he always takes the same time (4:30)..

no idea. My hubby has been working so much, I hardly see him anymore. And knowing him the way I do, I'm sure he'll want to sleep the entire weekend. So blaH! I'll do the usual, wake up way too early sat, clean the house, laundry, grocery, gym... then sunday I'll probably spend being a couch potato.

ohhh the mobster idea is good

The hubby and I are traveling to Vancouver on Sunday to go the the Caribbean Festival  A horribly overpriced crowed get together of the Caribbeans finest :P We were going to go on Saturday but hope that the crowds won't be so bad on Sunday.

I can't wait to stock up on the way home for all my favorite CA goodies  Ketchup, Curry and Tandori dorito chips, areo bars, cadbury chocolate, smarties, pop without HFCS, cheese curds, Kraft dinner and of course stock up my medicine cabinet

I have to visit Tims and maybe the Swiss Chalet *drools*

I should have been born a Canuck :P

speaking about flying....

I just got my long awaited call from my husband that he made it back to base safe and sound. For some reason I am sometimes a little freaked out when he is flying...and today was one of these days...

He should be home in about 3 hours! (L)

You can say ''excuse me, but your behavior is inapropriate. I'd like to be left alone'' get up and sit somewhere else. Or you can take and iPod with you and listen to music the entire trip. Or you can get a book, like a learning book of whatever and say you can't chat because you really have to study.

I'm not sure this guy gets things like social cues or rejection...

*sigh I am thinking more along the lines of buying a bike and biking to work :)

just tell him this:

get away from me or i'll scream.
