Slow cooker is that pressure cooker?

Nope, pressure cookers are the scary exploding ones! I want a slow cooker... going to get one soon. Good for making lovely winter comfort food, although that's not much use right now!

i like cooking in the crock pot during the summer.. saves the house from heating up when I use the oven... I cook chili in there, sweet and sour pork, chicken etc....

ah, I don't think I've ever seen one :P

We use pressure cooker a lot in BRazil.

it is good to get one with a Removable Stoneware...

Damn, I want one NOW! (Yeah, I get excited about the kitchen appliances too... ) - I've seen that one in the picture in the shops (think it's the same one me & husband-boy were admiring the other week), do you & Mags both have that one, then? Two recommendations AND it looks good! :)

Will have a read of that thread, am looking for cooking inspiration right now!

no, I don't have that one but my mom does and she uses it all the time and loves it,.... I do have a rival crock pot but a cheaper version... it works pretty good...

I think the 9th of Av has come early. So many tragic stories on VJ lately. At least the crock pot is a diversity, and the picture is cheery .

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

I hate shopping for used cars. I was quoted these two different prices for the same exact car, nearly the same mileage, same exact year, same exact options, same exact condition (no real mechanical problems, good condition):

Dealer 1: $8200

Dealer 2: $4995

I bought neither, but jeeze. Sucker born every minute or something. The second price is far more in line with reality.
