We just had a power cut :( But the weird thing was, after about 20 minutes I said... 'Come on power, come back on' and as soon as I said it, it came back on! My brother looked at me and went 'Woah....'

POT ROAST

Fry up some onions, garlic and seasoning in olive oil...not too much...

brown all sides of the meat...not much just enough to trap the juices inside

put in crock pot

put in 2 tbs (or a glug :P) of white cooking vinegar

add a can of mushroom soup

add in the fried onions

8 hours later eat and enjoy!

You can add in veggies near the end if you like or cook them separate

My fav crockpot dish is Leek & Lentil Soup..

mmmmmm

3 leeks chopped in rings

1-2 cups of veggie stock

2-3 bay leafs

celery (or any veggie really)

1 can stewed tomatoes

a handful or two of green lentils.

Whatever spices i feel like throwing in there at the time..

mmmmmmm on cold winter days..

I loves the leeks I do!

Me jealous too! I want one of those Proper Dates - last night out we had that could count as a Proper Date was when we got married, I think!

Hmm... I think I might request one.

Anyway, have fun (and tell us about it over the weekend or on Monday!)... oh, wait, you're not going jogging on your date, are you? (JOKE!) ;)
