Why healing powers?!? Why not magical powers?:P

For Charles it heals everything, cramps, headache, toothache, stomachache, even hangover

I think Javi and Charles have a lot in common. I hear it constantly. Every time I have any little ache or pain it's, "I know how to fix that." I'm like, please, just leave me alone.

Andre is the same exact way! Scary  Not only will it fix any of my problems but apparently me having it fixes all of his as well :P

So what is the recipe for the chili? I cook a lot in my slow cooker and even have a recipe for chili but I am sure it would be nice to try something new...care sharing?

Hee hee.. well now.. i actually don't cook via recipes for stuff like chili..

but i put in the crock pot on low heat (if i'm away for the full day)

a can of diced tomatoes

a can of kidney beans

can of chick peas or a can of corn (depending on how "wild" i'm feeling) :)

red pepper

green pepper

celery

& McKormic's Chili mix (you can get it at Aldi's too (no-name stuff)), it's where the gravy & spices & such are..

Put it in in the morning stir it a couple of times, head out to work.

When i get home hubby cooks the ground beef (with garlic & Montreal Steak Spice) and then we put it in the crock pot & serve with sour cream and/or shredded cheese

I always make hubby biscuits too.. cause I am a good wife  (gag me)

So.. bizzaro thing happening to us..

Stuff like this is a good way to end the week I'd say

What a great way to end the week  So are we talking go an a vacation amount of money or buy a new car celebration?

*sigh unfortunately it will mostly go to "debt reduction" but hubby will pay his taxes for 2006  & buy new tires for our current car = it's a good chunk of change actually 0 but it's in Mutual funds so it has to be taxed booo :(

That chili recipe sounds pretty good. I might have to try it. Now only if I can remember to bring my slow cooker home from work. We do cook at work and I brought mine to work with some soup in it, about 3 months ago. Just goes to show you how often I use my slow cooker at home.

Just couldn't stay my @ss away!

No...like a crock pot. You can cook stuff in it for hours. Usually leaving it at home to slowly cook all day.

That recipe sounds good to me....I don't cook with recipes very much either. Just throw it all in the pot and hope for the best

Slow cooker is that pressure cooker?

Nope, pressure cookers are the scary exploding ones! I want a slow cooker... going to get one soon. Good for making lovely winter comfort food, although that's not much use right now!

Well everyone, I'm out for the day. I hope everyone has a good weekend. I'll try to check in from time to time but Javi isn't really crazy about me being on VJ when I'm at home. If not, I'll talk to you all on Monday.

Have a good one! :)
