I had my wisdom teeth removed (the lower ones) in 2002 and this year the upper ones. So no pain. But when I pierced my tongue back in 1998 (wow, I'm old :P) I ate a whole bunch of ice cream, because I couldn't stand the pain and the ice cream frezing my tongue would help :P .

So, let's see:

- ice cream

- smoothies

- oatmeal/cream of wheat

- yogurt

- gelatin

- pudding

- soup - either the ones you buy in cans (that doesn't have pieces of meat, etc) or you can cook vegetables and blend them, you can even add meat or macarroni and then you blend. You're getting all the nutrients you need and you don't need to chew.

- mashed potatoes

- baby food :P

Thanks for all the love :luv:

We have been separated from May. I don't tell a lot of people. To many judgements and "advice" if you can even call it that. Honestly since we have been separated it has been real good. He is having to learn how to budget, pay bills, be responsible, can't just skip out on work because the bills keep coming. It has been good to for him to take the responsibility of his actions and choices. No more Jamie to fix it all and come up behind him to clean. Doesn't feel so good not having someone there waiting for you to come home. It was also good for us to be apart because some of things he was doing and saying were extremely hurtful. For him to be able to sort through it all and work on things without me still getting hurt daily was important. In order to break down the bricks between us he couldn't still be adding them...it was so counterproductive.

Just yesterday he was telling me how awful it is to come home to an empty house and have to eat alone and go to bed alone. At first he talked big about how he didn't need me and I didn't do that much anyways. "How hard can managing a house be anyways" Well now he knows and he is hating it. I hope that we will be back in the same house by Thanksgiving. Keeping my fingers crossed the good changes keep coming.

Re: wisdom teeth :crying: OUCH! I had 3 of mine taken out a few years ago. It was awful. Luckily I got some good drugs  I ate tons of smoothies and milkshakes. I don't think I lost any weight though :innocent::whistle:

I don't ever say much about my personal life on VJ because I don't want people to take it and run with it. But believe me when I say this, I know what you mean. Javi and I have had our share of that sort of thing lately. I'm hoping you are back in the same house sooner than Thanksgiving, but only if that means he is appreciating you for the wonderful woman you are.

Just couldn't stay my @ss away!

Oooh masehd potatoes... I didn't think about that... Well, that's what I will eat for dinner this evening then

Tylenol's just paracetomol though, isn't it? Or so I thought... well, whatever paracetomol's called in the US. Aceto-something, I forget.

Sorry about the hurty wisdom teeth (or 'former site of wisdom teeth', rather).... hope you can get some gooood painkillers. Best ones I had were diclofenac, when I had my thyroid taken out a few years ago, they definitely did the trick. Well, actually, the morphine was the best, but sadly the big spoilsports weren't going to give me any of that to take home - bah!

Oh, and if I were you... melty icecream! As a dessert, obviously.... buttery mashed potatoes for a main course, THEN melty icecream!

2005 - We met

2007 - K-1 issued, moved to US, completed AOS (a busy year, immigration-wise)

:D

Yes... the morphine in the hospital was fabulous... When I first woke up, I thought 'Great! No pain!' Then I realised that I couldn't feel my tongue or my cheeks and they had me on a morphone drip. As soon as it all started to wear off... Oh my god. And when I woke up yesterday morning it felt as though I had been through 99 rounds with Mike Tyson!

Hmm, not sure about Tylenol actually... I always thought it was stronger than anything we get over here..

Yes... Ice cream. definitely  I had strawberry angel delight for dinner last night

Chili is good stuff. I turn down so much food in here, every time someone bring their doughnuts and other fattening stuff, or they ask me if I'd like to order chinese or whatever when they're ordering, I never accept. They probably think I'm anorexic, bulimic or something :P

I haven't had anything for lunch yet. I'm not really hungry since I ate a good breakfast. I'm leaving at 2 so I'm waiting to get something then. It's pouring rain outside. I dread going out. I wore flip flops today so my feet are going to get soaked. I hate that!
