Good Morning!!
I think as women we just need to get stuff out sometimes.. just dump on someone.. have someone listen

*sigh

i thought that is why women get married :unsure:

She meant we need to dump on someone who actually listen, not just find a ''special place'' and be there until we're done talking :bonk:

:lol::lol:

Well I have never lived in an apartment before so I don't really have anything to compare it too. I have always lived in a house where I had my own yard and my own space. I hate hearing other people and their crappy kids. I hate when they decide to play on my back patio. I hate when there is no parking for my guests because the neighbors have their 27 cars parked in all the visitor spots. My landlord was a big talker and then once I signed the lease I realized she was full of hot air..."I don't allow this, I make sure this place is clean, I do this I do that..." Now that I am in the apt with a lease she has yet to be seen and I have yet to see her enforce ONE rule! I am an extremely private person and all these people knowing when I am coming and going is awful. If I ever had to live in an apt again I will live in a smaller complex and I would live on the top floor if there is one. Not to mention that a neighbor has ants so even though I clean and clean they keep coming back :angry:

Unfortunately I don't know if I can move anytime soon. The hubby and I separated and are living separate so I had to take what I could afford.

Sorry that ended up so long...It felt good to get it out

Awe so sorry to hear all that.. what is it with bad landlords... we had a classic one when I first moved here.. the apt was nice but we had a terrible neighbor who used to pound the wall so hard (when i was making normal making supper noises in the kitchen) the drywall dust would fly.. he was horrible, and i hated living there. Our "landlord" promised to find us a new apt, showed us 3 places (all that were rented out alreadY) and left us in the lurch, then when we found a new place outside our complex, got upset because we didn't give her time to find us an apartment in house.. GAH!!

I'm so sorry to hear about you & hubby's separation.. we can listen anytime..

Sorry about the separation. :(

And as for the apartment thing... yeah, that sounds pretty miserable if the landlord isn't taking any interest in enforcing any of the rules. We're lucky with our apartment, it actually feels pretty private in here (it's a huge building, but the walls are pretty thick and you can go for days without bumping into any of the other residents), but I've lived in places where everyone else is constantly in your face, where you can hear everything everyone else does so it feels like they're in the room with you, and where everyone else's kids seem to play (loudly) on the doorstep/right under the windows.... gaaaahh! Doesn't sound much fun. I hope it's only a temporary thing for you - I'm a private person too, and know how important it is to feel that your own space is really yours if you want to avoid going insane! (F)

:lol: I have been likened to 'Hammy the Hamster: :unsure:

Noooo! The drugs they gave me were RUBBISH! They gave me co-codamol and they didn't even touch it. I have been taking over the counter Ibuprofen which are working, but you are only allowed to take 2 every 4 hours.. They wear off after 2. And it says on the packet to take no more than 6 in 24 hours :mellow: Haven't quite been able to stick to that either.

If it's not better by tomorrow, I think I will go back to the doctors and ask for something stronger...

I had all four of mine out at one time also. I got some good drugs though and barely remember the pain. I didn't swell all that much either. I ate soup, pudding, oatmeal, and mashed potatoes. I did try to eat rice but that was not a good idea. I had to go back to have one of my stitches removed early because it was too long and I kept biting down on it. Then I had this open place back there. Was not good. :wacko: You may want to try some Aleve. It might help with the pain a little better.

Just couldn't stay my @ss away!

HECK YES!! Your pain control is probably out of wack.. it's probably ahead of you and it will be tough to get caught back up with the pain..
