Anyone doing anything fun over the weekend?

Nothing much here...Hubby has to work mandatory overtime on Saturday :protest:

We're driving up to Boston to help our Associate Pastor's wife move (she's doing PHD at Boston College). So hopefully we'll get to see some sights - hubby's never been there before.. I LOVES Boston!

I need a therapist.

I work in an office with a whole bunch of other people.

At my old job i had a live- in therapist.. and was known as the "therapist" of my office.. we were there for each other daily.. I miss that so much.

At my other job I had someone like that as well. We could vent away to each other every single day. It was the only thing that kept me sane for 4 years. I quit in July and she quit the next January. I really miss having someone that you can vent to that knows all the parties involved and just *gets* what you are talking about. I can only vent so much to my hubby cause he isn't in the environment so a lot of times he just doesn't get what the problem is...which honestly just adds to the frustrations sometimes

*sigh I hear you gals.. my husband said to me last night "why don't you tell your bosses any of this?".. and I was like - cause they don't seem to care what I think!!

I think as women we just need to get stuff out sometimes.. just dump on someone.. have someone listen

*sigh

My last job I had someone to talk to. But I trusted her, so she wouldn't listen to my complaints and tell anyone or make a big deal, you know? I don't trust anyone here not to make it worse. Sometimes it's best to keep things to yourself than putting yourself in a situation even worse than the one you already are.

Ain't that the truth! I am so careful about what I say cause you never know who is really friends with who. I have shot myself in the foot a couple of times when I was younger...good lessons to learn.

I agree that us women just need to dump and get it all out...I think it is our way of processing stuff. At least for me I like to have a sounding board who can kind of steer me away from doing something too drastic and also reassure me that I am not crazy.

I'm too impulsive, trying to change. Sometimes I just feel like saying ''the hell with this'', but I'm not a teenager anymore, I can't just go ahead and give up on things because I have no patience to work on it.

It's so funny we all work in different areas yet we all have the same complaints. I totally agree I just need to get it all out every once in a while. Javi tries to fix everything or he tells me to tell my boss too. They just don't understand you can't always tell your boss these things. I'm lucky, I do have a really good friend that I work with in this office that I trust very much. We both vent to each other. It's nice to have that.

Just couldn't stay my @ss away!

what is it about melted cheese??

we ate at this Mexican restaurant over the weekend.. and they have the best quesadillas.. all it was was a flour tortilla and some melted yummy cheese but it was soooooo yummy!!

Just the melted cheese in a bowl they have is to die for. I love it! I have no idea what kind of cheese it is but it's awesome. I always order fajitas nachos when I go to the Mexican restaurant. It's nothing but nachos with some chicken, a few grilled onions and peppers and cheese, lots and lots of cheese.

Mexican restaurants must do something special with their cheese because it is always to die for *drool*

All this talk of food made me have to go out and have ####### for lunch...my soup, apples and nuts with a granola bar just wasn't going to cut it.

Most of them use Goat's Cheese, that's why it is so creamy and delicious.

no RFE, will probably be on our mail today. I'm not worried about that. It's something else here at work that's bothering me. So I don't know if I go talk to somebody or if I just wait to see what happens

I got an RFE after having my case at CSC for three months. Turns out they want a marriage certificate, even though we already sent them one with the original package....grrrrrrrrrr
