I have always lived only about 5 minutes from Canada so when I was younger and there was a bigger exchange rate we would do most things in Canada - groceries, movies, clothes etc. There is a huge difference in the way things taste between here and Canada...especially candy and pop. I blame it all on the HFCS. I still go up to Canada as often as I can to go shopping. It isn't so beneficial now because of the exchange rate and the gas prices to get there...not to mention the hassle at the border.

I love Canada...I always have. I always joke that I should have been born Canadian. I even use the notorious "eh". People always mistake myself and my family for being Canadian  I wish I could move there :)

No hassle from the CDN side

Just the melted cheese in a bowl they have is to die for. I love it! I have no idea what kind of cheese it is but it's awesome. I always order fajitas nachos when I go to the Mexican restaurant. It's nothing but nachos with some chicken, a few grilled onions and peppers and cheese, lots and lots of cheese.

Just couldn't stay my @ss away!

Mexican restaurants must do something special with their cheese because it is always to die for *drool*

All this talk of food made me have to go out and have ####### for lunch...my soup, apples and nuts with a granola bar just wasn't going to cut it.

I'm sorry we screwed up your lunch. All this talk about Mexican food has made me want some. We have a Mexican restaurant not even a mile from our house. I always want to eat there and Javi gets so mad at me. He says he gets tired of it. Now how you gonna say you get tired of Mexican food when you are Mexican? Makes no sense to me.

All this talk of Mexican food has made me want some too! Have only had food from one of the Mexican places round here so far, and it was pretty crappy. :(

2005 - We met

2006 - Filed I-129F

2007 - K-1 issued, moved to US, completed AOS (a busy year, immigration-wise)

2009 - Conditions lifted

2010 - Will be naturalising. Buh-bye, USCIS! smile.png

The one just down the road from us isn't the best one around here but it's the closest. There is one that is much better but it's about 30 minutes away. It's so much easier to go down the road a mile instead of 30 minutes down the road.

I'm not sitting here wondering if I can somehow talk Javi into going to eat Mexican tonight.
