Sorry to hear it isn't happening for you (F) Hopefully soon!

I don't know if my body will work when the time comes...I am assuming so

Right now hubby and I's relationship isn't going so well so the baby making has been put to the back burner...its hard because now is the time we had set in our minds to start trying...after 2 years of marriage. It will be 2 years in Sept. but I know bringing a baby into a not so good situation just makes things worse. *sigh* why is life so hard sometimes?!?

sorry to hear that. Life is a b!tch sometimes. But you know, there's always a reason. Maybe it will happen when the time is right, maybe there will be no good time because it wasn't supposed to happen.

Why isn't it happening for you?

For some reason I stopped ovulating. We did 3 months of medicated cycles and it still didn't happen. Now that I look back, it's good it didn't happen then. Now we're gearing up for another go at it in about 2 months. I'm taking birth control pills now to see if it will kick start my system to work correctly.

Beer and ice cream aren't a very good combo. I've done that before myself.

I'm sorry to hear you are having hubby issues. We've been having some ourselves lately. Another reason I say it's good we didn't get pregnant before. We seem to be getting things back in order so hopefully everything will be ok. I hope it is for you too. :)

Just couldn't stay my @ss away!

Ain't that the truth. This one is so much better than my first one too. It's still hard, very hard. I think we also have the added pressure of two different cultures being brought into it. I know with Javi, there are a lot of things he does just because that's his culture. It's hard for him to realize things aren't done that way here. I have to stop and remind myself that's how he was raised and how he believes things are done. I'm sure he thinks the same thing when it comes to some things I do.

MMMMM ya know I think that's one of the secrets of marriage.. for us I sometimes get frustrated cause I think my hubby's response means x when it's not at ALL what he means.. so misunderstanding ensues... *sigh.. caught myself in that trap soooo many times.. I'm learning though.. that's the positive!

Yeah, me too. It happens a lot with us. It just happened this weekend. I said something and Javi kept asking me to repeat myself. Then asked me to explain it. I just said forget it, it's just another one of those times when we just aren't communicating. Sometimes it's easier for me to say that than try to explain it over and over again. I get aggravated that he just isn't getting it.

we don't have much communication problems, it happens occasionally. Sometimes it's like I just unlearned english, I just can't remember how things are called so I use the word thingy for them  and he doesn't have a clue what I'm talking about and I go and show him what it is :P

:clock: 6 I'm out!

Re: the marriage stuff...I can relate to a lot of the misunderstanding stuff and miscommunications.

Right now the BIG problem is him wanting to live the bachelor life while being married. I just don't get it too be honest. This is our first marriage and he is almost 30...lived the bachelor life for a long time back in JA...but it seems that it is more fun being a bachelor here. I call it a mixture of the "wanting to live like a bachelor but reaping the benefits of marriage (joint income/someone else to clean up and take care of the responsibilites), kid in a brand new candy shop (US)" with a little bit of "college kid who just moved away from the parents (no need to be responsible)" behavior. In the beginning I understood it because everything was new and exciting and we were new to marriage and he was completely new to the States...now it is just getting old  We have done the counseling thing for almost a year...no luck yet :crying:

I'm feeling you. Javi falls back to that sometimes. He's had his share of all nighters since we've gotten married. And would die if I stayed out all night. I chalk his up to being young, he's only 22. It does get old though. Hopefully they will both grow out of it soon. Good luck with everything. I know it's hard.
