I did my first screw up at work yesterday, but it wasn't my fault, just lack of information. That's one of the things I find interesting here, I had to start working, nobody telling me how to do things, having to figure out it all by myself, it's a different country, things work different, I'm learning every day, but I think they expect me to know every thing. Hello? Flash news: I wasn't born knowing how things work I have to learn somehow. :bonk:

The thing is, I was asked to do something that is not my job at all, I didn't have to do, but I was bored and doing something else other that sit my as$ here even though it has nothing to do with what I actually do is best, you know?

Yep.. they are saying they are willing for me to work 4 days a week at my current ROP as well.. which I am considering.. 4 long boring days are better than 5 no?

I'll just get a PT job for the other day

Man I would be pissed if they wanted me to take a pay cut! :protest:

I agree though that 4 boring days would be better than 5 and you could get a PT job that you enjoy better...who knows you could even find a PT job that could turn into a FT job.

Isn't it amazing how many crappy jobs and bosses are out there!?! I know I have worked for a lot of them.

I am an accounting clerk and receptionist for a logging company...what do you all do?

No they will pay me the same hrly amount but I will only work 30 hrs per week instead of 40 - but it would give me a free day / week to actually work somewhere else.. i dunno.

Well what i'm thinking is retail.. waitressing.. small business owner who just needs a bookeeper 1 day a week.. walking dogs.. pole dancing.. you know whatever is out there :whistle:

Seriously though...if you went through a staffing agency I am sure you could get something for only 1 day a week.
