On my way to the farmers market yippee!

Sounds fun. I had some awesome raspberries for lunch. I didn't get them at the Farmer's market since we don't have one around here but they were still good. I bought a mango too but I haven't eaten it yet. I've decided I have to start eating healthier. I've been eating way too much fast food lately.

Just couldn't stay my @ss away!

I bought 1 mango only once here in the States. In Brazil they are twice the size, and here it cost a fortune. I guess I'll eat mango again in Brazil only. Jeez, like the mangoes are made of gold.

Mine I bought today was $1.39. We had some other ones the other day that were different than this one. This one is red and orange with some green. The ones we had the other day were all orange. I think they were called mango magic. I really liked them. I'm not sure if this one will be as good. Both were from Mexico, but Javi says the ones in Mexico are better. Believe it or not, the other day was the first time I had ever eaten a mango. I don't have anything to compare them to so I think they are pretty good here. I'll have to try them next time I go to Mexico. All fruit is way too expensive here, in my opinion. These raspberries I bought today were $3.99 for 6 ounces.

Ouch.. yep I agree. fruit is overpriced. We do score some good bargins at Aldi's though...

The Farmers Market was SMALL compared to what i'm used to - perhaps 6 stalls only 2-3 of actual veg.

I did score some fresh corn mmmmmmmmmmmm

no wonder why people can't keep their weight down, you can buy snacks loaded with sat. fat, trans fat, and a lot of other unhealthy ####### cheaper than you can buy a fruit.

That's the truth. It's insane to me that a pineapple costs $6.99. Watermelons are about the same price and they're tiny.

3 fruits that I bought in here that I found the price was absurd were mango (only bought once) watermelon (only bought once) and papayas - I buy every week, even though it's extremely expensive it's the one thing I indulge myself, some people buy an expensive cut of steak, some people go out to dinner in expensive restaurants, I buy expensive papayas.

men are pigs anyway. I can't imagine not washing my hands.

PS: I hate handdryers too, when I have to use it and there's no paper I always leave the room with my hands a bit wet, I have no patience to wait all the time for the mofo to dry my hands.

I never leave the restroom without washing my hands. I also hate hand dryers. I much prefer paper towels because then I can grab the door handle with them and then throw them in the trash. Keeps me from having to touch the nasty a$$ door handle with my clean hands.

I saw on Oprah (so it MUST be true  ) that hand dryers are the most "unsanitary" item in the bathroom.. think about it.. it recycles germy air from the bathroom and puts it all over your hands, you might as well not wash them in the first place!

So i'm on the bus on the way home from the market - and this woman gets on the bus carrying a baby stroller ( a HUGE one).. she starts screaming "isn't anyone going to help me I have a BABY".. most of the bus ignores her, but then a little women gets up.. she stuffs the carraige in the woman's arms and exits the bus.. then she brings on 6 bags of groceries, dumps them in the middle of the bus, then leaves again to get her baby (in a bassinette)... everyone in the bus now realizes she's got a HUGE load of things, the bus driver is litterally got his head on the steering wheel TOTALLY frustrated (cause it took her 5 min to get everything on the bus). Then she sits down , after having 1/2 the bus help her on and she DIDN"T say thank you to ANYONE!!! I was listening for it- thought for SURE she would lighten up and say "thanks everyone", but she totally acted like everyone was just doing their job..

*sigh.. I love New England.. :(

yuk. I'm glad here at work they have towels. What I dislike here is that they don't have a garbage can nor those pads disposable inside the little closet (or whatever is the word) with the toilet.

But who knows, maybe I'm the only person in the entire building who still has their period, or maybe all the other women spend the entire day with the same pad or the same tampon.

So i'm on the bus on the way home from the market - and this woman gets on the bus carrying a baby stroller ( a HUGE one).. she starts screaming "isn't anyone going to help me I have a BABY".. most of the bus ignores her, but then a little women gets up.. she stuffs the carraige in the woman's arms and exits the bus.. then she brings on 6 bags of groceries, dumps them in the middle of the bus, then leaves again to get her baby (in a bassinette)... everyone in the bus now realizes she's got a HUGE load of things, the bus driver is litterally got his head on the steering wheel TOTALLY frustrated (cause it took her 5 min to get everything on the bus). she was probably mad that she had to ask people to help her instead of having them volunteering. I know I would, but still, I'd say thanks.
