I just got an honest to goodness project to do!! it's data entry but HECK! I'm happy!!

Everything has a good side :) I'm happy........just don't like my jobs, frustrated at Montreal, but those will clear up.

Even happier we have a new house and won't be bouncing off the walls, well....um... :innocent:

What is the count down thing?

I don't get to go for lunch today...

I started having vision problems last night and they aren't getting better - all blurry and my actual eye socket hurts not to mention all the twitching :( I have really bad eyes and have worn glasses since I was under 2 years old. Not fun :no: So anyways I called the doc and they want to see me right away and I have an appt this afternoon. So hence why I don't get to have lunch...cause I have to leave early.

So I am sitting here miserable, not able to see very well, hotter than hell and starving! :cry:

This is the most ghetto office I have ever worked in...

there is no vending machines of any sort

they are so cheap that I still us Microsoft Office 1997 and Lotus

I type daily on a typewriter

there is no ac

the carpet is threadbare and everything is dingy and old from the 70's wood paneling included

the copy machine is older than I am...really and it copies crooked with black fuzz around the edges

they still save everything to disks and swap the disks around instead of having a network or server

It is awful!

Trust me it drives me insane! I can't stand it. I have only been here a few months but I am still applying for other jobs to get out to this one. The hard part is this job is SO easy. I do about 1 hour of real work every day and the pay is decent with benefits. Definitely won't stay long but its kinda nice to have a cushy job for once.

The part that really ticks me off is we don't have money to upgrade anything in the office but the "big" people all get $5000+ quarterly bonuses on top of their way over the top salaries *gag* :dead:
