Huh, I hate my job too. Must be something in the water. Javi keeps telling me I can quit when I get pregnant. Sounds nice but don't know if it's a reality. That and the getting pregnant thing is turning out to be harder than expected.

Here's good thoughts going your way for the preganant bit.. Hope you guys have success very soon!..hubby has told me to start looking.. *sigh* I just want this area of my life to work right now.. all the other areas are awesome!

Thanks! Good luck to you too! I know what you mean about everything else being awesome. My two main things are my job and getting pregnant. I'm going on 5 years of trying to get pregnant, 2 with my first husband (which I'm glad didn't work) and 3 with Javi. It's just so frustrating. The thing with my job is, I don't like to do the same thing for very long. I get bored easily. There really isn't anything wrong with my job. It's not that bad. I have good benefits, I can come and go pretty easily, and I work with great people. I'm just tired of working, basically. I suppose I'll just have to suck it up and do what I have to do.

Just couldn't stay my @ss away!

Yep, your husband is correct. I really shouldn't complain too bad. The job I have now is so much better than my last one. It sucked big time! I guess the thing is, I haven't ever found anything I really enjoy doing so I'm never happy for very long. I think if I could find that one thing I really loved to do, I'd be just fine.

You have THREE jobs? Blimey! :o

I'm kind of terrified that when my EAD gets approved one of these days, it'll be time to start looking for and applying for jobs. Eek! Not sent out a resume or applied for a new job in YEARS - worked in the same place for 9 years, ever since I graduated. Jobhunting, applying and interviewing scares me a bit. Ok, a lot.

2005 - We met

2006 - Filed I-129F

2007 - K-1 issued, moved to US, completed AOS (a busy year, immigration-wise)

2009 - Conditions lifted

2010 - Will be naturalising. Buh-bye, USCIS! smile.png

I'm working my butt off to make sure all my bills are paid before I leave, spending money until I can get an EAD, and to pay for AOS.

(Proud Single Mom)

My SO doesn't like it, but I'm just looking forward to sitting around for AOS

After all that working, you will definitely have a cast iron excuse to sit on your ####### and take it easy for as long as it takes, I think!!

Ahhhh it's nice not to be alone in all of this..

I loved the first 3 weekish after applying for AOS and right after the move.. i needed the break, but it wasn't long and I was itching to help.. (seeing as my savings were dissapearing and I knew hubby was getting stressed).. but I couldn't work, which was stressful.. now I can work and I'm stressed cause I am not happy and want to look further but don't have the energy too.. ahhhhhh I'm in a catch 22! :)

He's building a house. If I EVER get my interview before he gets everything done. There will be alot for me to do. He's gotten the outside done, finishing the drywall this weekend. Then there's the whole landscaping thing.

He has power tools. I can make things

He says I can just go down to the pond and fish and stuff if I want  I'll probaby volunteer somewhere anyway :) Figure if I have some spending money of my own, and I can cover the AOS I'll feel somewhat useful.
