That is true. Another thing that bothers me is why should I have to pay for someone else's kids to go to school? I never had any, and lots of senior citizens have to pay, too. Yet, you have these apartment dwellers with a slew of kids and they are not required to pay one red cent towards their child's education.

amen. i'm in the same boat with you on that. i think taxes for school should be aimed more at those with kids, not those without and certainly not the elderly.

What I wanted to say that inspired this....my new favorite movie of all time...Pride & Prejudice. I've watched it about five times now, and it always takes me about an extra 1/2 hour to watch as I rewind all my favorite parts a couple of times.... Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy.... *sigh* I love it so much that I was ill last week and Craig knew I wanted the book so he went out and bought it for me...awwwww. Anyway, that's all. GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD romance if you've never seen it and like that type of film!

So, whatcha all have to say today? :) M.

OMG!!!! I love Jane Austen. Have you read Sense and Sensibility? That's my favorite Austen book.....

I agree and I have kids and I'm a teacher.

(WARNING: POSSIBLE MAN BASHING)t

Now may I rant for a moment? Why is it that when you ask your SO things about weddings he makes comments like "is it really necessary to plan things a year in advance? Do you have anything in your head besides this?" Yet when he goes on and on and on and on about cetain things that interest him, I listen patiently and quietly and am even supportive? Yes, I know that in the grand scheme of life this won't matter. I also know that it's not our "real" wedding (it's the celebration with his family...not legal, etc.) and I know that we can't even pinpoint a tentative date yet, but FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS is there anything wrong with me wanting to talk about the one measly thing in this whole journey that I have control over? I can't control dates or times or any of that, but I can talk about cakes and colors and other unimportant tasks. I do NOT need the man that I love and want to spend my life with to mock me and make feel stupid because I am excited about this.

/rant over

mmm I don't agree with this. As a society, we need to think of the common good. Making education available to everyone is for the benefit of all society (and benefits the country), so it's a responsability to be shared by all citizens.

180, I know how you feel. My boss is back this week so it's all business for me. No more playtime like last week. I hate it.

I envy you. I'd love to be very busy, oh how I miss that.

140 here. Our closing is now supposed to be today at 6. I have heard from the loan guy, who finally decided to get to work today, that someone else will be calling me to verify our address and the time we want to meet them. I haven't heard a thing.

Just couldn't stay my @ss away!
