Do you ever wonder with the amount of time that some VJ'ers spend on here how they keep their relationships together?

I'm as guilty as the next person btw

some of us can't work together. And who spends all the time with their SO? My husband doesn't go with me to the gym, wax appointment, just to sit there spending time with me, the same way I won't go outside and watch him mow the yard for hours just to spend time with him, or go watch him change the oil in the car.

Now who here spends 24/7 with their SO? I mean all the time. Is that even possible?

I know I am guilty of spending a huge amount of time here on VJ, but it doesn't interfere with my relationship at all.

I am trying to remember back to being here during winter months. I'm sure I have seen the squirrels all year long.

In Canada they store food and hibernate all winter.

Some animals can hibernate for the winter, yet few actually do this for the entire winter.

Squirrels, cottontail rabbits, songbirds, hawks, owls, opossums, raccoons and countless others still have to find food as regularly as possible in order to fuel their inner furnace and survive the winter. Many of us are familiar with the site of squirrels "fattening up" before the cold months set in, and this is one way they can survive. By adding on layers of fat and even storing (or caching) foods, mammals especially can fuel up for harsh weather. In fact, if it's really horrible, they will opt to "stay in" wherever they have found shelter or in their "winter homes" until conditions are more suitable. In general, however, the smaller you are, the more often you need to eat! So songbirds, weighing only ounces (less than most bars of soap!) need to eat every day.

WHAT IT IS AND WHO DOES IT: Hibernation is the way that animals adapt to the climate and land around them. Animals must be able to live through extreme cold…. or die. Animals hibernate—or deep sleep—to escape that cold. They also do this because it is really hard to find food during the winter.

so I am assuming that in a warm climate the squirrel wouldn't need to hibernate....
