I don't have to have my tonsils out. He said there isn't anything abnormal about mine or anything. He said most of my throat problems are probably coming from my acid reflux. He suggested I start taking my Nexium every day instead of just when I needed it to see if that helps. Hopefully that will work.

i guess we can cancel the remake of that movie now :hehe:

Yeah, too bad. I know you were looking forward to seeing that one.

No it's not. He said I would be out for at least a week. I wouldn't be able to eat for 3 or 4 days. That right there was a good enough reason for me to say I didn't want to have it done. Me, not eat for 3 or 4 days? That's just not happening. I'd be so ill Javi wouldn't be able to stand me. Plus, I just couldn't see spending the money on an operation I don't necessarily need when we have so many other things we do need that we could use the money for.

 No, I don't think I could imagine me not eating for 3-4 days either!

My friend had hers out last year and she was really not very well afterwards at all. She haemorraged :( It's quite risky having it done after the age of 16 apparently...

Yeah, he told me the risk of me having bleeding afterwards was really high since I was older. It just doesn't seem like something I really need to put myself through considering he said it wasn't that big of an issue. If he had told me it had to be done I would have scheduled the surgery. Since he, as the professional, said I could if I wanted too I didn't see it as a very big deal.
