I don't have to have my tonsils out. He said there isn't anything abnormal about mine or anything. He said most of my throat problems are probably coming from my acid reflux. He suggested I start taking my Nexium every day instead of just when I needed it to see if that helps. Hopefully that will work.

Just couldn't stay my @ss away!

Yeah, I was hoping they would say I didn't need to have it done. Now I'm just hoping the Nexium helps. If not, he said I can always come back and they'll take them out for me. He said it's probably just some phase I'm going through and I'll eventually grow out of it. I think that's hilarious since I'm 29 years old.

I am a little shaken up.

I just got back from driving my stepson to school- on the way there I saw a little boy get hit by a truck while riding his bike. I saw the boy get up- he looked like was ok physically- the guy driving the truck had to back up to get the bike out from under it.

TRUE STORY: One time while my fiancee and I were driving towards downtown, a kitten was tossed out of the SUV in front of us. My fiancee saw this happen before I did, since I was busy concentrating on where we were going and the traffic. She exclaimed, "Oh my God! Did you see that?!"

I hadn't and was about to say something, but then I saw it. The kitten was bouncing around the tires of the SUV and then it came "bounding" at my car. I couldn't swerve out of the way since there were cars on both sides of me and we both felt my car run over the kitten. I could see the bloody kitten-like squashed mess behind us in my rear-view mirror.

I didn't say anything at first; I didn't know what to say. Nothing like that had ever happened to me. My fiancee, on the other hand, was horrified. She was very upset and talking to me at a speed of about a mile-per-minute, trying to rationalize what just happened in her mind. She knew I couldn't move out of the way (not without getting us into a car accident and even then, there wouldn't have been any guarantee the kitten would've been okay), so she wasn't angry or annoyed with me at all. I believe it was just the entire experience of what happened that left her shocked.

Oh my God. :o That is HORRIFYING. Thank God you didn't have kids in the car. They would have been FREAKING.
