I am a little shaken up.

I just got back from driving my stepson to school- on the way there I saw a little boy get hit by a truck while riding his bike. I saw the boy get up- he looked like was ok physically- the guy driving the truck had to back up to get the bike out from under it.

It also disturbs me that there doesn't seem to be any bike helmet laws here. I rarely see any children or adults wearing helmets.

I was driving with 2 co-workers, we went to lot of places here on base and as I was making a curve one of them looked at the other guy and said ''she drives like an european''

So is that a compliment? What exactly driving as an European mean? She said it joking, but I still don't know if that's a good or bad thing...

Gosh. I hope he is okay. I think I'd be sick if I saw that.
