So i go to get on the bus this morning and the bus driver stops me and says "oh.. someone was asking about you the other day - someone wants to meet you and find out your name".. I said "excuse me?"..She repeated what she said and I said.. "who is this guy??" She couldn't describe him or say his name..

I was totally taken aback. I think it's time for me to try another bus route - between creepy men and a bus driver who went over the line.

Why would she feel it ok to tell someone who you are? That's just insane to me!

Wow Michelle, that's creepy. Reminds me of when I was a student and working at a convenience store. I was 18 and I was opening the store alone early on saturdays. Then every saturday morning there was this guy getting in the bus 1 stop after me, and no matter where I would sit in the bus ( was pretty empty) he would sit somewhere where he could stare at me. He was getting off 2 stops before me so I was lucky he didn't know where I was working. But that guy was freaking creepy. They changed the bus schedule and luckily I never saw him again. But he was definitely creepy. Now I hope for you that is just some normal guy that might be shy to ask you and that will stop his inquiries, but that bus driver definitely should mind her own business.

Change your route if you can. I couldnt and hated every saturday morning for about 4 months.

And Charles, I like that suggestion, I will definitely keep that in mind for me too :P

My husband said.. uh what if the guy ends up to be on the registered offenders list.. she could really get into trouble.

Hubby wants me to call the bus line, and have her reprimanded.. i honestly would want her on my side if anything should happen on the bus.. :(

Yikes. Creepy. But I would be thankful to the bus driver for the warning, so I don't think she should be reprimanded. As to whether the person is a sex offender or not.... I would look here and see if you recognize anybody. Though I don't imagine anyone planning to do you any harm would raise awareness that he was interested in you. Maybe it's just a schoolboy crush or something.

Yep that's what i'm thinking too.. she did it so cutely and unaware of what she was saying i really don't think she thought anything of it.. I keep thinking she probably would have treated it differently if the guy was creepy and would have warned me or something..

WHO knows.. I still think i want to keep her on my side incase I ever need her on the bus :)

i just had a call from the UCLA hospital that my hubby missed an appointment they scheduled for the 25th...

the lady seemed quite ticked with us, she said they had called and left a message about the appointment.... I told her that my hubby had gotten a message from them but all it said was to call them back, I told her that hubby hadn't called back yet because he has been working a lot of overtime etc... She then said well tell him if he wants the appointment to spare a few minutes to call them.... she was extremely rude...

it was funny because when I first called them she asked who I was and I told her my name and she said are you David's mother??

I am really not liking the customer service at this hospital... this is supposed to be one of the top hospitals in the area too
