Tomorrow is my last day at work, and I can’t wait to get the hell out of here!

Remember how I had doubts about changing jobs? Well, they are all gone now. The company I am going to is a really good one, and it has a plant in Venezuela, so I will be traveling home on the company’s expense. Also, even though I like my boss here, some times she is like a little black cloud! She can’t get happy about anything, nothing excites her, and all she does is work every single day of the week! It’s not like she ever made me work over the weekends, but I felt like since she was doing it I ‘had to’ also. We traveled last week to Italy and went to Rome on Saturday to sightsee, and well, there we were in front of the Coliseum, and I could barely restrain from jumping up and down in excitement, and there she was like… yes… it’s ok… *shrugs*, I wanted to shake her!!

So now I am sure I want to move on, now I am really looking forward working in the other company and meeting new people to work with!

Congrats with that! :star:

:star:

Thanks!!!

Good luck with the new job, Ana! It's great that you'll get to travel home on expense reports! I do that, too, I'm scheduled to leave for Germany on July 9th, hooooray!

The best part about it…

Is that this company’s plant is about 45 minutes from my home town and the hotel where they stay is about 10 minutes from my mom’s house!! Oh, and usually they stay 3 weeks when traveling outside the US, and usually they fly you back on one of the 3 weekends, but since I wouldn’t fly back, Rob could use that ticket and fly home to visit my family!! We can do this in Mexico, Costa Rica and Venezuela…:) … I’m SO happy!!
