I miss trolling about here all day long. BOO to having to work! Oh well...such is life til I win the ol' lottery! Hope everyone is well!

Page 3 again! Come on people, we can do better than that.

I hope everyone has a great day today. Mine seems to be shaping up to be pretty good. I'm missing Javi and can't wait for Thursday to roll around so I can see him again. This only talking on the phone brings back memories of him being in Mexico, some good, some bad. I'm just glad this trip is much shorter than the Mexico one.

Then on Friday we are off to Michigan to watch Appalachian State play University of Michigan in football. This is the first time they have every played a school of our size. We're much smaller than they are. Our attendance at our games peaks at around 25,000, where as they seat 110,000 in their stadium. We're not expecting to win, just don't want our guys to get hurt up there. It should make for an exciting weekend. Plus, I get to see my cousin who lives in Michigan that I haven't seen in about 2 years.

Just couldn't stay my @ss away!

it does feel a little weird talking on the phone with your SO after you are living with them......

Yeah it does. The one bad thing is, he left his phone charger at home so we can't talk that long either. He's been turning his phone off so it will last all week. I can't call him when ever I want to talk to him, I just have to wait for him to call me. Then we just talk for a couple of minutes so he can turn the phone back off again. My brother is with him and he has a cell. If I really needed to get him I could just call my brother. It's just aggravating to go back to phone conversations when I'm used to having him right there next to me. I suppose it's good I miss him.

I need to vent a little....

so yesterday hubby had a doctor's appointment with the doctor who did his embolization procedure back in July.... we had to go into LA which is about 30 or so miles away but with traffic can take an hour or more.... our appointment was at 4:15pm...

anywho, we managed to make it there in time and were ushered pretty quickly into the examination room but then we sat there for about 30 minutes or more before this nurse Practitioner and I think an intern came in and asked my hubby some questions and poked around a bit and then left saying they were going to talk to the doctor and the doctor would be in shortly.. well, we waited another 30 minutes or more and still no doctor.... and I had stopped hearing people outside the room... i told hubby that bet you any money they forgot about us....

It was almost 5:30 by now and I had to go to the bathroom so bad so I went and on the way I saw the doctor in his office chatting on the phone and the lady who was in the room earlier was there too, she looked up and saw me as I walked past.... anywho i did my business and went back to the room and I noticed that the office was empty and when I went into the exam room the doctor was in there.. the doctor said he just got tied up... yeah right, they probably saw me and were like ####### we forgot about them....

he basically told us that the other mass probably was too small to embolize right now but they wanted another cat scan to make sure and that they would have to keep monitoring it over the next little while... all this could have been done over the phone :P but I guess they couldn't charge for a doctor's visit them.... :P

as we were leaving we noticed that everyone else was gone and things were all locked up ...

of course getting home took a lot longer with the rush hour traffic....

That has happened to me before and it made me so mad. I actually waited in the waiting room forever though. When I finally said something to them they took me back right then. The doctor came in and said she thought I had skipped out my appt. What happened was they didn't check me in when I got there. So there I sat all the while they thought I hadn't shown up.

They may have closed and left you there. You never can tell.

probably  I was getting a little worried when I noticed that I wasn't hearing sounds outside the room anymore

Yeah, I could see how you might. I can't believe it's 11 already. I'm leaving work at 1:15 today for a doctor's appt. Usually that makes the day go by really slowly. But not today, it's flying by. And I'm glad because I'm ready to get the heck outta here. My bestest friend in the whole wide world just gave me a movie ticket for a gift so I'm going to see Rush Hour 3.

Well I'll be going by myself which is a little weird for me. I've never been to the movies by myself. I'm sure it will be a good movie though. I liked the first two. And it gives me something to do instead of just going home and sitting.

I have gone to a move by myself once or twice....

one day I was soo bored so I went to see a movie by myself... I don't remember what the name of the movie was but it had one of the Baldwin brothers in it.. I think Steven.. oh i think it was called "Fled" we only had a 2 movie at a time theater and I had already seen the other one or I didn't want to or something anywho.... I bought my ticket and proceed to the theater and noticed that no one else was in there... and no one else came in after I was there.. so I literally watched a movie all by myself  that was a bizzare feeling...
