I love my rice cooker and my crock pot (L)

So here is something WAY weird and awkward. Long story short I had a BFF in HS and we were very close even after HS. Some stuff went down...not really sure what all happened but things changed and we lost contact. All I know is I don't think it was on the best of terms (just from what she has told others). So I have emailed her a couple times with no response. Her husband and my hubby are friends so that makes things even more awkward. Anyways I have been gathering baby info for the future (just in one of those moods :blush: ) and I joined a message board/group with only about 66 members. So I am looking around and reading all sorts of post and I come across a member that reminds me a little of this former BFF. Long story short I am 100% sure it is her. I know without a doubt that this member is her. Small world huh? So what would you do? She is very open and frank on the site and I don't know if she would be ok with me knowing all that info as I live near her and actually know her IRL. Should I tell her it's me or let her figure it out eventually? I really have no idea what to do :unsure:

God, life is strange.

Just last week I discovered someone from high school had uploaded a load of video clips from high school shows and concerts in advance of the class of 87 20 year reunion, including one of me as Tzeitel in the school production of Fiddler on the Roof singing Miracle of Miracles with the guy who played Motel. This basically made my day for a week to see my 16 year old self again and I was all nostalgic. I hadn't thought about that play or my costar in quite some time and I started to wonder what became of him.

I sent an email to the guy who put it up there asking if he was able to give me a DVD of the whole play.

I just got an email back this morning saying he could and informing me that the guy who played Motel died of a heart failure at the age of 36 ihis past June. My blood just ran cold.

Sorry - don't mean to bring the mood down. It's just very odd and sad.
