Yeah this day is ddddrrraaaaggggiiinnnngggg on!

I just had to sit through the most boring insurance meeting. I swear we were in there for hours...it was actually just 32 minutes

It is only 11:08 am here :(

So when you guys are bored and hating your job A LOT...do you browse the job sites? I find myself doing that more and more. Maybe I should just take the hint to myself and find a different job.

I don't browse job sites for 2 reasons: when I consider all the aspects of my job, paycheck, hours, boss, the place I work, close to home, benefits, etc., it's a pretty decent job; second, even if I was looking for a job I wouldn't do that on a government computer :P

:P Yeah I wouldn't do that on a gov't computer either!

I am not worried about it here. I think I told you all about how bad at technology this place is. I had to show a lady yesterday how to restart her computer and the other day my boss asked if I knew how to find something on the C drive cause she just couldn't figure it out. Sitting here using Lotus and Works...not worried at all

Not sending resumes yet...just browsing and day dreaming :P I want to stay at this company for 6 months at least (already at 5 months) so it doesn't look so awful on a resume. Also I just got health insurance so I am getting all my checkups and all that good stuff. Probably will make a move in Oct/Nov or maybe after the holidays. Not quite sure yet.

But you'll check your email/VJ? I'd much rather job hunt on a govt computer!

yeah I do all that, so does hubby. He's been doing that for 5 years, and his job is way more serious than my job, so why not? Plus, if they want me not to be on VJ or checking my e-mail or reading the news they should give me work to do. It's not my fault I'm obligated to be here :P

As for looking for a job, that will most definitely not look good. If I was looking for another job I would never use my employer's computer to do so, specially if I knew they can not only be checking which websites I visit, but reading everything I type.

Me either Marilyn. We didn't really get that many groceries this week because we weren't sure if Javi would be home. He's going to have to start working out of town. So far though, he's still here. I think this might be my last night with him this week though until Friday night. Then he'll be home for the weekend and off again for the week. Not sure how long that's going to last either. It could be weeks or months. Oh well, I'm not complaining, at least he has a job.

Just couldn't stay my @ss away!

He's in love with you, I'm telling you.

As for dinner, if you don't know what to cook I have a solution: don't cook anything!

well hubby wouldn't be too please with that

and before you say anything, if I leave the cooking to him we will have scrambled eggs all the time because that is all he knows how to cook....

he does know how to BBQ though ;) .. hence my menu for today ...;)

i do usually have to prepare the food for him though... that is usually the only way I can get him to BBQ :P

during the week I basically cook everyday....

for awhile there we ate out a few times during the week but now we are trying to cut back on that because we are trying to lose some weight and save some money... it is hard when there are a lot of good places to eat around here..

we eat out more on the weekend though.. it just seems to be easier to eat while we are out instead of going back home to eat :P
