I don't really see a need to use the dishwasher right now. I have to rinse the excess food of the plates, load the dishwasher, unload the dishwasher, it's way easier to just wash it by hand, you know?

Now, if we have kids and I have to cook daily then it's another story, it'll make my life easier, but for now..

Like, usually I am too tired or lazy when I get home I don't eat anything just so I don't have to cook or I open a can of tuna and eat from the can for example, and Charles drinks his strawberry milk so really, we don't have enough to wash.

my brother and I rented a place together for awhile that had a dishwasher... my brother would basically wash the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher...

and I used to work in a prison kitchen before and one of my jobs was to the dishes of the staff after lunch.... i had a whole system down and I got pretty quick at it.... they had one of those big high powered dishwasher units... anywho, sometimes one of the other girls would come and help me if they had nothing else to do.... they would get a big bucket of soapy water and basically wash the dishes before putting them on the trays for the dishwasher.. and they wouldn't even organize the dishes.. like putting all the plates on one tray, the bowls on another etc.... it took them such a long time to do the dishes...

argh that's a pet peeve of mine, :ranting: one of the reasons I rarely ask Charles to do the dishes. I have a system to handwash the dishes. I put them all (after washing on the dish drainer) in this order, very organized so after it's dry I can put them away and also they fit, bleh, bad english, I can't explain, like when people wash and put them all piled up it drives me crazy. If you organize, like rinse the plates first and then the cups and then the pans, you know? They'll fit better in the drainer thingy

exactly

I had a roommate who would just pile the dishes haphazardly into the dish pan and nothing would be dry..... cups would be upside down etc....

:P I knew what you meant

I'm home, I already took my second shower of the day, man, it was hot at work today, I usually don't need a second shower unless I'm outside or I go to the gym.

Anyway, I'll go do some laundry and watch Sopranos.

wow. At least you're ok. (F)

Now sorry to ask, but why do you carry all that? I carry my CC, check book (I never use neither, but just in case, since I never carry much money), military ID and driver's license (because I need them everyday with me to drive and to work), but that's it. Vehicle reg stays in the car, ss card, passport, health insurance, all at home. Maybe I should carry my health insurance card, never thought of that.

your dependant military id card is your health insurance card as enrollement in deers can be verified off of the ssn on it.
