OH no for sure i'm going to help this gal out..

No worries there.. i'm not really debating helping.. cause frig I know for sure how sucky it is to be in a new place and have no friends and no one to celebrate with.. FER SURE..

I kinda had that thought - wait it out till everything is finished and then say something..

I don't want it to be "you guys suck".. but I think i need to verbalize that it was a little hurtful that nothing really was said or done for us..

It naggs me at the back of my head that we were divorced and remarried (both Hubby & I).. because it's a "church" group of friends.. i wonder if that had some influence on the level of "excitement" that our friends had for us.. I dunno.. my husband said I shouldn't think that way - that it's not what's going on.. i just get really frustrated sometimes and wonder if I've been given a scarlet letter with this group.. :P

my hubby and I went to the beach on Saturday.... and I did something kind of stupid... we had this stick sunblock stuff, that I guess is mainly for your face, but I put some on my legs and I thought i did a good job of covering my whole leg.... but I guess I didn't  and my darling hubby took a picture :P

Oh Marilyn, that looks really sore! Do you have any Aloe plants to hand? They are the best for soothing sunburn.

actually it doesn't hurt....

I am used to getting sunburned :P:lol:

In that case, maybe you should go out and buy an aloe plant for future use.... ;)

ouchy Marilyn!

as many of you may know, I'm of Indian background.. so I'm a light brown in colour =)

but my fiance is of Polish background so he's as white as can be and in a few days we'll be spending a week in Gulf Shores, Alabama! (I CAN'T WAIT, I LOVE THE BEACH).. But I'm worried about him.. we've never really spent any beach time together ever and I think he might turn into a lobster...

lobster.gif

I wasn't even thinking about this til a couple of days ago when he was like..

"so, we need to get a beach umbrella" and I was like "what's a beach umbrella?"

him: you take a big umbrella to the beach so you don't burn... you've never had one??!

me: umm, no, I grew up in the middle east, and we don't burn.. =)

So, we got a half tent contraption

36445391_tp.jpg

And then it got me thinking of his genetics... and here's a pic of his sister's leg after a weekend trip

we're (ie, him + burn = cranky; hence, me) so screwed!!

My pet peeve is: People on this site who cannot spell correctly or convey their thoughts into an intelligent sentence. IF I see another person spell "definitely" as definAtely, I think I will scream! And, then there are those who use no punctuation between their words and you cannot tell where one sentence begins and the previous one ended and they misspele a lot of wrdos adn suond lake tehy aint got no mo then a ####### grad edmuchacashun.
