ugh, I have an awful tummy ache :blink:

i would love to go back to bed but I can't because someone is coming to replace our floor in our upstairs bathroom.. which should have been done right the first time before we moved in so they wouldn't have to replace it now :P

That sucks! I hate when you get work done and they don't do it right. That's one of the reasons we've been remodeling our house. It didn't get done right the first time and now we are paying for it.

we are just renting but nothing was really done right before we moved in... I think they were just in a hurry to get it done so they could move us in....

the guys who are coming today aren't the guys who fixed up the place before we moved in... the other guys put down a new floor without replacing the sub floor which probably was rotted because the toilet leaked which we got fixed after we moved in.... the floor started cracking shortly after we moved in....

I think they are here now.. I hear a bunch of clanging outside , they are probably getting all their stuff ready....

Hopefully they do it right this time. I would say you are correct in your assumption of what happened. I hope it doesn't take them too long to fix it either. I hate having people in and out of my house working on stuff.

That's so true. My stomach isn't feeling all that great now either.

Anyone know how to get rid of gnats who have invaded your whole house?

Um, hairspray works well to kill them. Sticks their little wings together. They also sell some gnat spray to kill them. Can you tell I have experience with this? :wacko:

OMG I am soooo far behind on this thread! Month end reports at work suck :mad:

Marilyn thats pretty crazy about the cop thing. Glad that you didn't get a ticket or anything. I don't like the fact that the cop lied to you guys and then later told you the truth. Why couldn't he have done that from the beginning?

I have been in a huge dispute with Verizon for my DSL since May. I have spent almost 450 minutes on the phone with their customer service (I can tell because of my cell) I was being overcharged every month and I was so sick of it. I spoke to like 6 people this last time and supposedly no one could help me. Crazy :wacko: I got so frickin pissed off that I finally called and cancelled it all. I can't put up with this every month...especially when it never gets resolved and I end up paying the wrong price. It would have added up to me paying almost $144 extra a year. That just isn't right! So now not only do I have to pay the last 3 months of the wrong amount but I have to pay an early termination fee as well...which I also disputed to no end but got nowhere. This just makes me furious! They are lucky there isn't an actual office or I would have been camped out there til I got some answers. The whole call center thing is a joke! An absolute joke!

*rant over*

So does anyone have a company to recommend for DSL/Internet service?
