Not from Skyline (I agree - yum!), it was from a bar down the street (Tina's)... and was very very very yummy indeed.

Didn't occur to me to look in TJ Maxx - duh, that would have been a good idea, they might've had some bargains. But I've just got back from a little walk to Macy's (damn, it's hot/humid out there :o ) and returned with a lovely shiny new crockpot. Yay! :D

We sued to eat at Tina's a lot at work! ;)

Fancy crockpot.

I only like crockpot type foods in winter, when it's cooooold out!

i actually like cooking with the crock pot in the summer, saves me heating up the house with the oven....

you can make more then winter type foods in a crock pot...

I have made sweet and sour pork in there a few times but I usually do a lot of different chicken dishes in there....

Morning all!! Update on the creepy man story..

I was on the bus the other morning and he got on the bus and sat at the front behind the bus driver. He didn't see me and I moved my bag on the seat next to me just in case.. (when I saw him at the stop). A few minutes later (the bus is NOT full at all) he spots me and walks 1/2 way down the bus and motions for me to move my bag and asks if he can sit there. I said no.. please sit over there (there's a full row of seats with no one in them). Thankfully he listened to me, and moved over there.

GAH.. I wish the guy would just go away..

But at least I stuck up for myself!

yesterday my hubby and I were on the way to the drug store when my hubby noticed a police car behind us.... jokingly he said don't do anything stupid.. a few seconds later the police cars lights went on...

hubby pulled over and the cop came up to the car.... he asked for my hubby's DL and the insurance and registration, I couldn't find the registration though and I was frantically looking through the glove box for it...

while that was going on hubby was talking to the police officer and asked him if he had done anything wrong... the police officer said he pulled him over because the brake light was out but then he said he actually had a different reason... he said he thought my hubby was someone else... he said he was looking for someone and he thought my hubby looked like him from the back and supposedly the person he was looking for drove the same type of car as us....

ok, how is he going to be able to tell from the back of someones head... my hubby has a buzz cut right now .... and we drive a honda accord....

anyways the cop let us go and I still hadn't found the registration which turns out was at home.. I had accidentally brought it into the house when I was cleaning out the car a few weeks ago...

Youd think the cop would have run your plates and realized who you guys were!

he also asked my hubby where we were going and hubby who was a little nervous said home even though we had just passed our street and were actually on our way to the drug store... of course the officer looked at his license and asked us if we still lived on ***** street and hubby said yes and then the cop said well isn't that street back over there and hubby said well, we were going to the drug store first....

Yeah, well I seriously doubt he or she would say it to my face. They've got a computer to hide behind so it's ok. I'd venture to say people are much more likely to jump at someone when they know all their getting back is words. Me on the other hand, I'm the same here as I am in real life. I'll jump at you in a heartbeat if there is cause for it. Take it or leave, that's me.

Just couldn't stay my @ss away!
