Did it interfere with traffic control markings? I hadn't seen that. But I do take your point, and I guess what we need to know more about is how long the painting was expected to last. 

 

Also, having read a little more about what happened, I'm wondering if the hate crime charged had less to do with the defacement and more to do with what the couple said. Apparently the person who made the video was there with his girlfriend, who is black. The statement "racism is a lie" said to a black person might be the trigger for that in the right circumstances. I don't know, and I guess we'll find out more. 

 

Also it looks like there was an incident where someone painted "White Lives Matter" on the street a few miles away from where the "Black Lives Matter" painting was, and the cops are calling that illegal (because not permitted), and when someone started painting over it, she was detained too. I don't know -- but I'm guessing if a charge was made there must be some probable cause to make it.

Considering what we know about the BLM organization, they could not care less about racism.  Additionally, how many times are.people that are not racist called a racist for political purposes.  It seems as if you are really stretching to fit a narrative, but whatever.  From listening to the video posted, I certainly did not hear anything racist.

I'm just saying, I don't know what happened here that would be enough for a charge of a hate crime, and I want to wait to hear more before I say it was or it wasn't in my opinion. I'm not in the business of these things so I need more information. Apparently it's a capital offense now to have a little humility about how much you know and want more information?

 

Usually we have juries but I guess during COVID19 we have CEHST so what a relief!

Then why doesn't it say all lives matter. If I have a sticker on my car that says I love Labradors, it doesn't mean I love poodles 

 

approx 260,000 black men have been killed mostly by black men since 1980.  yes not one peep.

If Black  lives matter why are we not comming together to stop and bring social awareness to the over 7k black men murdered in the US every year. Only 13% of the population but more murders than whites who make up around 70% of the population.  Who is killing all the black people? 

 

Despite the popular narrative the vast majority are not police, its not the klan, its not people that follow Donald Trump, its not by racist or people with white privilege.
